i think thats quite sweet that you made an effort its not the money that counts its the thought. The fact the gift is expensive shows how much she means to you. Well done I hope it all works out

To me that is way too much. flowers die after a week. Some girls do love it though, one girl I know wasnt impressed with her flowers one year and told her bloke to take them back and get her another bunch!! Spoilt

I don't agree that that the fact that they are expensive shows how much she means to you. I find red roses to be tacky, especially when they've been added to ( sorry poltergeist). For �10 my husband could buy enough tulips and daffodils to fill the whole house and I'd be delighted that he remembered that they are my favourite flowers.

Mine has just bought 2 dozen roses at �6 per rose. I'm really peed off. I bl00dy hate poxy flowers and it's such a waste of money for something that lasts a few days.

I really do hate flowers and would have preferred some skincare products. Bet you think I'm ungrateful, being spoilt too much can be counter productive.
