I thought that me and my b-friend were happy and he was always talking about furture events etc. But now he's the one who has got all freaked out saying that he doesn't know what he wants anymore. He says that I'm too full on when I only see him twice a week and that its getting too serious. how can this be when he was the one who was always doing the chasing at the start.

Is it the thrill of the chase game and now he's bored?

Can guys really get freaked out and get cold feet? I thought it was only women who did that?

Elastic band theory. Let him go for a while to clear his head he will come pinging back

Well that was my thought. We have been having time apart with no contact which was my idea by I'm close to breaking coz I miss him so much I just wanna text him.
I'd say that was fairly typical behaviour. Just go with the flow & don't pressurise him - they can't stand relationship pressure. I agree with 4getmenot - start treating him a little cooler & he might be the one that heats up again. Although - he is taking the risk of you going off the boil...
I'm a man and I'm telling you 4get is right... leave him be... don't text him and he will indeed come running back like a kicked puppy... we're pathetic really:)
please go out and buy men are from mars women from venus it explains so much

Thanks for all your help. I will hold off from contacting him and see what happens. lol :)
Or, as blunt as it sounds- maybe he just went with you for a couple of bonks a week? Maybe he never was looking for a full on relationship to begin with.
^ these people are right when he wants a jump he will be back

But it was his idea to start a r-ship in the first place thats why I'm so confused
Is that book any good then 4get? I've got but have never read it.
Obviously I'm not aware of your situation, but I wouldn't call seeing someone only twice a week a full on relationship anyway?

From just reading your post, I see it more as a couple of people who got together twice a week for sex (I'm assuming that's what you do lol). Nothing wrong with that- if that's what you both want out of it of course, the only problem is if one wants more than the other.
maybe he is getting it elswhere?
have you got a sister?
Question Author
Boo. Thats just my point. He wants to tone it down but as I only see him twice a week I can't see how it can be toned down any more without coming to a complete stop.

I want to see him more so it is def me who wants more from him then he does from me. I am starting to think now that he only want's me for sex.

I have been in a sitaustion b4 where I was just literally sleeping with someone and I don't wanna go back to that coz it seriously messed with my head.

I think I need to break off our r-ship. Think thats the best thing for me in the long term.

no I don't have a sister. I have thought about if he is getting it elsewhere but then I do trust him (maybe I shouldn't), but I don't think he would set out to hurt me. He just seems generally confused about what he wants which is obviously no help in sorting out the situation.
Good on ya girl!

If you arent getting what you want from the relationship, walk away. It'll save you heartache in the long run.

Good luck :-)
you are Sasha get rid. are you interested in some good quality dvds to keep you company during the lonely nights ahead?
Do you love him????
Question Author
Boo

we are meant to be meeting up soon to talk about it. But should I just text him and tell him not to bother coz I have made my decision or is that a bit mean?
Sounds like you need to lighten up and pull back from him and put your focus on YOU - your life/friends/work/family - anything but HIM. Men hate it when women get "needy" and "emotional" - it is a big turnoff and will send him running away to get some space from you.
