Hello all,
I for one am glad to see the lighter nights and mornings, makes me feel that summer is coming! Who is up for an Easter egg hunt? Of course, you can use chocolate eggs or bags of sweets, but how about those little party favours instead to save the teeth and waistlines?
For those of you without kids just enjoy the long weeknd and maybe let yourselves have a little treat.
And by the way a big WELCOME to all our new users in the last couple of months. Good Luck and well done for taking the first step.
We welcome anyone serious about losing weight and we offer support and kind thoughts - not magic fixes, just sensible help.

You're so right Jan. We are so crowded here on the naughty step that we can hardly move. I've never seen anything like it.
Staying the same isn't as satisfying as going down but at least it isn't going up. I hope you can get the results that you want next week....well I guess I can say that to everybody!!

So sorry to hear of your losses Spotit. I can fully realize that at times like this, thinking of what you are eating has a very low priority. You concentrate on getting on with life and hopefully finding some bright spots to focus on. Remember that we are all here for you (on the naughty step....yup nearly all of us but we are here)
Forgot to weight myself yesterday, but just done it now and I'm down 3lbs this week. Result!
I've been out on my bike a fair bit, and although I did have a kitkat the other day, I've been pretty strict with eating.
I'm finding that grazing seems to work well for me. I've got lots of little containers in the fridge, with chopped up peppers, celery, carrots and cucumber in. I just have a little munch on that when I feel hungry.
I've also made quite a lot of homemade soup, which is a healthy alternative to when I want some 'fast' food.

Well, after not putting on any weight on holiday, and after a few days of strict dieting, I've put on 2lb lol. I wrote off yesterday completely as we were having family over for a Chinese takeaway, but back on the straight and narrow now. I wish to lose another nine pounds before my next holiday, which is just 7 weeks away.
