Hello all,

I for one am glad to see the lighter nights and mornings, makes me feel that summer is coming! Who is up for an Easter egg hunt? Of course, you can use chocolate eggs or bags of sweets, but how about those little party favours instead to save the teeth and waistlines?

For those of you without kids just enjoy the long weeknd and maybe let yourselves have a little treat.

And by the way a big WELCOME to all our new users in the last couple of months. Good Luck and well done for taking the first step.

We welcome anyone serious about losing weight and we offer support and kind thoughts - not magic fixes, just sensible help.

Don't forget your weekly weigh on Wednesday and remember we don't judge!

Here is last months thread

If I had the weight of another person to lose I'd just try to throw them off, then run away and give them the slip !

Good Morning Ladies well I can't grumble I have stayed the same. Maydup put it down to this depressing weather . Thats my excuse. I have cut out eating in between meals so that has stopped me from gaining . My grandson will be here most days easter holidays so that is going to be difficult as I tend to share things with him especially the bacon rolls. Must put a zip on my mouth lol.
Up another ¾ lb. Surely it can't keep pushing up all the time :-(
Hi OG perhaps you will be like me get a start when we get rid of this icy cold weather. I have to be careful next 2 weeks with grandson here but the easter eggs don't bother me .
I don't know but I've ben stuck for at least a month. Got a week off at the moment and always seem to be wanting to eat something. Unsure why. It's less of a problem when the day is more controlled.

Looking back over the week there has been a couple of 'not great' days, but not so much as I'd have thought should make a difference. Maybe, now I have got so far, I just need to lower the daily limit if I want to drop further. Can't see that being stuck to though. Already breaking slightly the existing limit.
good morning ,at my weigh in at docs on friday i'd lost 2lb bit disappointed as i thought with my bulk it would come off quicker still at least it was a loss ,hope you've all had a good week x
Mallyh don't despair I know it is disheartening when you think you may have lost more but you have gone the right way . Good luck for next week just remember every little bit off helps to go the right way and the slower it comes off the better. Take it off too quick and it will go back on twice as quick.
thankyou for the words of encouragement wendilla ,it does help x
Sorry to hear some haven't lost what they would have liked, I'm feeling a bit guilty that I seem to lose relatively easily. I have done really well this week, I have lost just over 3 lb, I'm pretty much living on fish and rice with fresh fruit and full fat yogurt for breakfast and supper and iff I'm peckish between meals. Sunday is treat day when I have a roast dinner.
Well done Ratter. When I lost my 2 stone that is exactly what I did . Fish and chicken in the week and always had a full roast sunday dinner . This way you don't get so bored but I am really struggling with this stone but I blame the weather but will get going better once we get over this icy cold weather . Been having hot choc drinks which does not help either.
Well done Mallyh and Ratter!! Commiserations to the rest of you including me, as I have stayed the same AGAIN. I have been weighing myself on Sundays as well, to see if I'm going to be on target for the Wednesday Weigh-In, and the thing is . . .I've found a gain each Sunday that I have to lose by the Wednesday to stay the same. :-(
Congratulations to all you losers and even to those who have stayed the same! I seem to have lost all my self discipline and cannot get back on track at all. Another 2lb gain this week! If I keep on like this I will soon have regained all the weight I had lost. Was almost too embarrassed to come on here today.
Spotit a 2lb gain, thats the way it goes sometimes, please dont give up and keep coming back here for support. You will get there!!!
I know how you feel spotit. I didn't want to go on the scales but realized that if I didn't I would be loosing control. Never feel embarrassed if you have put on weight. It happens and sometimes does us good if we have been coasting along with a treat here and there. Lets hope that next week we will be smiling.....
Thanks a lot for your support, Ratter and Xstitcher.
I think we would all feel much more motivated if the weather was more springlike. Come on sun - pull your finger out.

In the meantime lets all help each other to resist the comfort food some of us turn to at times like this. Not all of us do it, but some of us can't resist the odd Yorkshire pudding here, drink of hot chocolate there or a piece of cake to share with family. I'm going to try much harder this week and be more determined, more like Ratter in fact. I want to lose 3lbs too! Well done Ratter, you're an inspiration this week.
Just 1lb off for me this week but a bit off plan at the moment as my Mum died on Monday night. Will try to be good but not sure how things will go as finding it really hard to concentrate on anything.
Hi Jan so sorry to hear about your mum. Take a step back at the moment and dont worry about dieting as you have more things on your mind at the moment. You have been our star loser and I know that once you get on track again you will def lose as you are a very determined lady. Hope you foot is improving .
Awww Jan that is sad news, I'm so sorry to hear about your Mum.
Thinking of you and sending a ((((hug))))
Spotit I am the same just can't seem to shift it. Just persevere till we get over this cold spell. I think I may be a lot older than some of you and I am certainly not going to be strict in this weather.but I will get back on track.
I know that I don't post in this section, but condolences Jan :-(
