Hello all,

Not sure if we have done fish already but it is worth taking another look. Thanks xstitcher :-).

It may be but I think someone is changing reality around me :-( Probably some quantum effect in play, I'll have to ask on the Science Forum. There was no justification for the jump, I was already discouraged by the continuous plateau I seemed to be on let alone going in the wrong direction. Then eventually it gradually works it's way almost back, but then up again ?!? If reality doesn't play fair soon I swear I'm going on a Pizza & Curry week ! (Too often denying myself those things.)
I was just looking at Ed's imput of things to do with a can of tuna and remembered this: in Spain tuna is standard in any green salad...about half a tin, along with half a boiled egg, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers. This is a meal in itself. You can accompany it with a slice of bakers whole meal cruncy bread. Dress the salad with lo salt and balsamic vinegar.
Or what about an extra 15 minutes on a walk or a swim OG and Wendilla?
I'm stuck too at the moment and can't honestly think what more I can do with my menus, but I CAN be more active. Yesterday I walked up a hill and back again at lunchtime. Today i will make myself go out again and not just run to the local shop and eat my salad lunch in the staff room.

Thanks for the encouragement. For what it is worth, today I am 0.25 lbs down on 5 days ago (the last time I opted to record what it read) and back to where I was 8 days ago. But these are still the low readings in a period that usually claims I'm lbs more.
Mmm... bread & tuna :-)
i do recall in the past (decades ago when I actually achieved the loss I wanted) a brisk daily walk did seem to work. But older and lazier now I get back from work and have no enthusiasm to do the chores I should let alone make time for a walk. But whilst it's still not too cold maybe I should consider it.
The weird thing is that I know one has to do a lot of exercise to burn off the equivalent of a small amount of food. So I don't really understand why it seemed to work well before. Maybe it was wishful thinking on my part.

Hi Maydup would love to swim but one of the things I never learned .panick as soon as water over face . I think it must be smaller portions and have a serious look at the diabetic recipes . It doesn't help much at the moment with grandson here most days but schools go back next week . He will have to stop having bacon sandwiches lol because I have to have one at lunchtime as other times when on my own I would not have that .
