With me it is carrier bags. I always take my own bags but today I forgot. I wouldn't complain if the bags were plain but I refuse to pay for a bag with the shop name all over it. So cutting off my nose to spite my face I struggled. I had it in my hand bag and in my pockets. I know I sound like a tight cow but I'm not. It is the principle that I'm paying them to advertise their shop.
So what do you hate paying for?

Water
Council Tax, Road Tax and the lazy articles who won't[i work (not those who [i]can't])
Water usage and drainage hmmmphhh.
I would gladly pay for a typing lesson though! ;)
I hate having to pay a 330% increase on my gas bill (from about £30 per year up to around £130 per year) because OfGem has prevented my supplier from keeping the tariff I was on, 'in the interests of consumers'!

Agree with Boo, not going into detail but the price of some products is outrageous.

Water when dining out. Well, I don't mind a nominal charge, but I was charged a fiver for a bottle of water at a restaurant recently. I thought it was a bit much.
Bloody hell Mrs chappie, I would have sent it back
I agree with pixie too.

Paying a dentist to inflict pain on you- madness!
You make me laugh Jeza; such determination, but I'm right there with you when it comes to carrier bags.

After taxes and utilities of course, my pet hate is paying for drinking water. When i was a kid we could find a water fountain in the town and at the park, now if we're thirsty when we're out we have to buy a bottle of flippin water and pay a pound. As you can imagine, I'd rather get a headache!

And diesel, I put £20 worth in and the computer thing says I have an extra 90 miles! On the plus side, been a cheap week seeing as the car died and is (still) in the garage.
