My 2 year old neice was chatting to me the other day and called a snowman a mak-mak, i was intrigued as to where she had got the word from until my sister told me that mak-mak is the word she calls a duck (obviously meaning quack quack). Bless her heart, I suppose a round fat white snowman with an orange carrot nose sort of does look like a giant duck. I dont think I will ever call a snowman a snowman again :)

Well .. in our 3 kids lifetime we have had three contutors, we rarely play Entol John music , usually wear demin jeans, eat pasghetti once a week, go to the park and see the cark peeker, go shopping and use the Par Cark and our current favourite (from 13 year old son walking in on us watching the news (bombs and everything) whilst discussing if the 5 yearold had hurt her eye, saying whats happened in Bhanderi?

Hi pixi, Hi all

My daughters who's 5 still calls spaghetti, pasgetti lol

Used to spend summer holidays at my Aunt and Uncle's house, where they had a fish pond in the back garden. My two cousins are David (my age), and his little sister Andrea. When David and I were 10 or 11, and Andrea was 2 or 3, she used to say she was going to watch the "fwush in the gargen". Still laugh at that today, as my Aunt lives in the same house, and I pop over there every week.

My little sister called elephants 'Ungulumpties'

My best friend at school used to call biscuits 'Spickadicks'

And a little girl my mum used to childmind pronounced 'purple' as 'peepop'.

Sadly I don't think I had any particularly amusing phrases myself. But I did think my cousin's name was 'Packet'. It's actually Patrick.
