He’s not harassing you if you’re accepting lifts and willingly going to lunch with him. If you don’t like going with him say no.

Naomi gives good advice. Tell him the truth . Lies can lead to a tangled web of deceipt. Maybe he is just a bit lonely and likes your company, but try and limit the times you accept his kind kffers for lunch
oh dear my fat fingers causing typo errors
Could be, Bob. I missed that.
To me it seems Abbey is either leaving the dog walking or another job, where she knows him from
I thought she was referring to a work colleague but now think it is the older man whom she met at the kennels.

Let us know, please, Abbey. Different advice might be given.

Yeah from dog walking
Haz, I wondered if it might be the older man she has referred to in the past, and now it's been explained to me, I understand it a bit better, I think!
Abbey , if he is the older man, my advice ( @16.20 ) still stands
Question Author
Yes same man
Abbey, is he married?
Question Author
No
He's probably lonely and you bring him a little cheer.
How old is he, Abbey? 50s, 60s, 70s? Just a rough idea
I'm not sure that his age matters. It's not as if Abbey is a young girl.
A post in July quoted "a man in his 60s" - just in case you didn't see the question, Abbey.
15:56, PMSL I love it when PP tries to give grammar lessons!
No, I don’t conclude - I assume. There is a difference.

no look it up
assume - no axioms - like - I think it is raining in Buenos Aires ( no info prior to the statement)

he gives her lifts and he has lunhc with her
I conclude they are at the same work place
( two bits of info - er lift n lunch allows a conclusion)

yes there is a difference - as someone said

[it is times like these I can see but but still regret I am on my own ( on AB) ]

I love it when a mensan makes it plain in public he shouldnt be a mensan.
I conclude that Abbey is so grateful for the grammar lesson.
Or do I assume she is...... !?
