Any Dubonnet drinkers?

I have been a Dubonnet fan since i could legally drink nearly 40 years ago. I bought a bottle recently and it definitely tastes and smell different and not for the better. So...it it me or have they changed it?

Morning all...ooooh, it's cold and wild out there, this weather needs suspending until October at the very least. Unless you're dressed like a north sea trawlerman Jude I don't think it's going to be a sitting by the river day. Re your problem I'm guessing it could be one of many reasons....maybe you had a bug and have upset your stomach's balance, or it could be IBS or colitis related. My neighbour went through a phase of it and she had diverticulitis. I think imodium is ok to take in most cases but check with your doc. Hope it settles down very soon, I hate stomach upset, it's so tiring and really knocks your confidence.

I watched Mr Whicher last night but I think I drifted off a time or two. Are there any more?

Chilly and windy here too but at least it's sunny .There doesn't seem to be any warmer weather on the horizon either .When I say warm I mean over 20C and Accu haven't got anything .
Could be IBS playing you up Jude .I hope it soon settles down .Try drinking an Actimel every morning .Hope everyone else is OK .

Hi All. I've been to see Adrian(Dr) and he has asked me to take a sample (ugh).Says he thinks it could be a type of food poisoning. He's given me Imodium and said take it only after a morning session not after each one.
I have to go back if it hasn't cleared up in a week or if they send for me. He also said he didn't think it was my colitis coming back as I wasn't in any pain.
Thanks ladies for your suggestions. I was quite anxious but feel a lot more at ease now.
I sound really selfish, sorry, but it's been on my mind for a week.
Have to go now I have the biggest pile of ironing to do. Then I'm off out with Fuschia to meet our cousins.

Glad you are sorted jude, hope it works. I always get the runs on a Monday due to the wine I have imbided on the Sunday!

Am trying to sort our our yearly tax (renta) but honestly it's one step forward to two back! Ours was simple enough, I thought until I went to our bank for a fiscal certificate, and they were on strike, but said to wait as they only had 2 mins to go, then they have given me someone else's, which I didn't realice until I trudged home. Hija's bank is ridiculous, won't give can't give, but can if I pay 6 €, even though I am named on the account, so hija is going in tomorrow to get it for free. So I have to do it all again tomorrow.

Lovely day here, sunny, warm and breezy, very aceptable. Am just doing my roots.

I watched the first Mr Witcher but realised that I have seen it before, have they redone it? Will download yesterday's and see that one. I do love the internet and would be lost without it as my sky box isn't working too well, pictures pixellating, but that's the weather so at least I can watch it on computer.

jude I had this problem years ago when I was still working. There was a strict rule that you were not allowed to work with stomach problems of unknown cause because of passing it on to patients. I did get investigated and it was put down to being a "virus" I was told to use loperamide to manage it if I wanted to and to stay off work until it had resolved which took IIRC about two weeks. I had an unpleasant boss at the time and she tried all ways to get me back to work to do admin or something (and I wouldn't have minded) but Occy health were unmoveable. IMO provided you stay feeling well then give it a while, if it trails on beyond....say....a week, then pop to the doc.

I'm pleased you've seen the doc Jude (you did well to see Adrian, I know a couple of his patients and they can't get him for love nor money...what are you bribing him with? ;o) ) Shaney's idea of actimel is good, I have at least one every day.

Neti I couldn't do with it every Monday. But I had had some wine that weekend so it could have been that. It was white wine. Does that mean anything:)
Robi I was second in the queue for 8 o'clock opening. I was up at 6 and got the 'initial' interruptions over with and I went in my car in case I had to make a swift getaway!! :) I got to see him at 9.20. which by his watch was 10.05 as he's always running late. I don't mind the others but he's my favourite. Done my ironing and I'm going to have fish and chips before I head off out. Laters 'gaters

couldn't answer that, neti, as the only mobile thingy I have is an Ipod, and I know exactly what that's for. What did you buy it for? Is it malfunctioning or just not fit for purpose?

I didn't buy it, himself did for xmas pressie. I would have preferred a Samsung galaxy s lll. No idea if its malfunctioning or what. There is a helpline so will have to call but it's what too technical for me and there's so much I need showing how to. Still on phone.
