Dos anyone know where I can get this mail order please, my usual supplier doesn't seem to have any?
Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

Morning all..bright but so very frozen, real feel -7C. Apparently we'regoing to be in double figures by Friday...(double plus figures)

I enjoyed Last Tango...my only tiny criticism is that Gillian's some kind of superwoman. Are we supposed to believe she runs a farm, works at the supermarket, looks after a baby, charges around the countryside at the drop of a hat....and still has the energy to bonk around? Must be on drugs as well. :)

It has got so cold here, almost freezing, sis and I were very surprised when we exited the house. She's bought lots more clothes and some lovely waterproof boots which look like normal boots, am impressed.

We are trying out the new individual pie maker, what a disaster, first pie was too flat and the top wouldn't cook so I have put in oven and it has burned. Sis has made another one and that is perfick! I am sick as a dog!! Why can't I use a simple pie making machine??

Been trying to print off sister's boarding pass for tomorrow but computer skeeps shutting down, grrr, we have to go to village again tnis afternoon in the cold to go to an internet cafe.

ha ha Robi, I thought that too. Tortoise heating worked fine, finally went to sleep at 4 am. Sis came down in the morning and found that I had opened the door for the dogs at some point, fastened it back and gone back to sleep. She covered me with a blanket and left me to sleep, I don't remember that at all.

Pie maker is a huge sucess, had turkey, ham, mushroom, sweetcorn, stuffing and onions in them, and looked very professional, Mr N impressed.

every day I am being emaied pictures of the honeymooners cruising round the harbour on a private launch... or picknicking on an island vineyard... or dining in a revolving restaurant... and now lazing on a sundeck overlooking the beach... I think I may start to cry.

brrr, well, I went out scouring the shops for a diary, which Santa had forgotten to give me. Plus some half-price Christmas cards to put away for 11 months, a book from Oxfam, a copy of Time Out (which is now a giveaway and a quarter of the size it used to be) and a travel-size tube of shampoo from Boots. Last of the big spenders.

Had a damn virus called vaudix but have got rid of it now, it wouldn't let me post on here.

Sis has gone, I have been cleaning and changing bedding and all sorts of things, just to keep busy. Made lovely turkey soup with crumpets last night. Staying in tonight, we've been indulging too much lately.

Morning all...I could get in here but it kept freezing and I got fed up in the end. In fact it's been like that all week and not only on my kindle but also the big puta now. It's only this site doing it.

Still frozen snow here but we're told it'll thaw today. It might look beautifully seasonal but I won't be the least bit sorry to see the back of it, no matter how much I bump up the heating I never seem to get warm. In fact I won't be sorry to see the back of this year...it hasn't been the worst but it's been been a struggle (for me) in more ways than one.

everything's very bright and white here again, frost, not snow. I really need bigger shoes, ones that will let me in even when I'm wearing three pairs of socks.

Been busy again today, missing my sis so much. But have been washing more and ironing everything.

Got all dressed up for the cold and it wasn't too bad when out.

Not going out tonight, although I am having 2nd thoughts, don't like to miss a party do I?

hello all, its milder and greyer here. We went down the road to coffee with my friend whose son I am godmother to. We had a lovely gossipy time, then we went out for a drive and to do some shopping.
We are bracing ourselves for more firework mayhem, dogs are dosed, we hope that everyone lets theirs off together at midnight and gets it over with. Mumble grumble moan.
