Dos anyone know where I can get this mail order please, my usual supplier doesn't seem to have any?
Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

Many thanks

I wish I were dancing in the street in a onesie - but alas am stuck at home. At 4pm I had a visit my my friend and her husband with the alzheimers. Was nice but he made me very nervous as he kept unzipping his fly as he was uncomfy, well in the 60's this would have been ok on NYE but at our age?? Luckily Mr n came home and chatted, but I seem to be the only one who chats to the poor old guy. He said at one point how nice it was to be with old friends. I was quite touched. Then he shouted Rioja and I knew I had lost the thread! Sad to say I was glad when she decided to go home, he kept tearing up paper napkins, but I didn't mind, kept him happy.
good grief, it's like thunder out there, I wonder if someone dropped a match in the box of fireworks.
well, happy new year to all and their forthcoming family members, their tortoises, their leopard onesies etc

it wasn't too noisy at midnight jno, thought we'd get away with it but oh no, it kicked off at 01.30!
Anyway all quiet now, I wish you all a happy and PEACEFUL New Year
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!
I hope it's a healthy, happy and prosperous one for you and yours.

Apart from a long phone chat with my oldest uncle (he's very young in mind and a devil for the ladies) I didn't do anything, I've been to enough new year parties in my lifetime and never a bad one I have to say. The fireworks were noisy for about 40 mins and that was it, all quiet.
The snow is all gone, there's a big difference in temperature, I stood by the open window listening to the blackbirds an hour ago.

Hope you're all well/feeling better. I'll be in and out with progress of baby snowflake, hope he arrives today!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

We stayed in, in fact I was in bed by 8.30 watching corrie.

I had a phone call from Hija at 12 midnight, they were celebrating well, and it was 3am there, but as most of them are spanish they all celebrated our time with the uvas (grapes). Then at 12.20 I had a missed call with a message from an ex (a very long time ex) saying he would love me til his last breath! He was pi··ed, I expect he phoned everyone with the same message!!

No fireworks on this side of the island, cutting back on expenses which is a shame but when they did have fireworks they were at 2am as they dignitaries hadn't finished their dinners by midnight.

Mr N has gone to do some quiet work this am and he'll be home for lunch!

Still chilly here although very sunny.
oh yes, we had a message from a friend eating grapes. I hope it keeps Spanish witches away.

Lots of fireworks around the London Eye as usual, though it just seems to be one bang after another, no real shape to it. As they didn't get any sponsors for it this year I suppose I am paying for it though you can't get in to see it now without paying £10. More comfortable on my sofa than freezing by the river, however.

Well, I have started the year as I expect to go on, by sleeping only four hours. I expect a restorative new year nap will be required.

Hi Everyone. Here I is! I've kept up with all your posts and enjoyed reading about the good and funny parts and really sorry if you've been having up and downs with your health. Shaney hope you're really on the mend now. Looking forward to hearing about the arrival of Baby Snowflake
very soon.
I've had a brilliant fortnight and a busy one. I've had some lovely Christmas in myn life I've never actually been away from Derby for Christmas day in the last 30 years so this year was first. I saw The Steadies before I left so I was happy to go knowing they were both ok.
I think I've overdone the mince pies and Christmas Turkey Dinners. I had that 3 days on the run including Boxing Day in Brighton.
I could write a book but I wont just to say it was great. Then to get home and go to see Derby win against Leeds on Tuesday night with my footie friends. I haven't forgotten about you hope you all at all.
Finally I hope you all have a Happy, Peaceful and Safe 2015.

Please excuse any mistakes.Fuschia's just rang and I'm off for a walk with her.
so Jude is also starting the year as she means to go on... have a lovely day!
I have also had the runs but am chomping through licquorice allsoerts like mad so that'll explain it.

Am getting a cold, but have cooked up a storm for Mr N who wouldn't stop eating and now won't stop snoring.

jno, the mother even calls her baby "Mini Cooper" and I pretend it was my idea.

very pretty, neti... flakes of cocaine dropping over the Balearics
Hello again. Great walk with Fuschia and her family. We walked all round Elvaston Castle then the full area of the Nature Reserve. Very quiet area except for animals and birds and the wind in the trees. No dogs, bicycles or pushchairs. From our front doors to when we got back we had walked 7.5 miles in 3 hours. Crazeeee cos I thought we were only going for a stroll. Wrong coat, wrong boots. Never mind it was good.
To round the day off I had Chips, Ham and salad for my dinner then a long soak in the bath. I should sleep like a log cos I didn't get to sleep until the last firework had gone off this morning at 1.36 am.
Have a good night Biddyfriends and Thankyou for your friendship for all these years.
sleep well, Jude! Maybe I should try getting out of the house once in a while... except I did and now I'm getting a cold and pouring First Defence up my nose.
Well this inducing malarkey isn't working, it's been at least 12 hours and nowt's happened.... a couple of gins and 20 mins on a trampoline would be a better idea. Think I'll fall into bed and listen to the bloomin wind howling.
I'll bang on tray if there's an announcement.
there's always one still dawdling around when everyone else is ready to go
CLANG!! CLANG!!

Baby snowflake arrived safely at 5.44am! 8lbs. He does have a name :)
Mum and baby both well. Probably livelier than me, think I had about 2 & half hrs sleep. Awful noisy windy night, lots of passing cars. Later....zzzzz
Congratulations Grandma! I'm happy for you and your family.
I must get up now. See you all later....
Welcome little baby snowflake, how exciting !!

Poor Robi you must be elated and shattered!

What does Baby Moondust think of it all??

Morning all, sunny and chilly here, am going to start taking the decs down today, little by little.
I hope baby snowflake arrived with lots of thermals on
