Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

Have just put away xmas, everything lock, stock and mincepie have gone, took absolutely ages, would have been quicker (in my case ) to give birth!! Also chucked out a lot of old decs that either do not match or are worn out. House looks rather stark now.

Yes Jno I slept solid. Had a lovely bath then fell asleep in bed when watching Quartet which I thought was so boring anyway.

I is here .Happy New Year to you all ,I hope it's a good one .I'm glad to see the back of the last one I can tell you but before I waffle on..... Congratulations Robinia on your new grandson.Hope Mum,Dad and baby Snowflake are doing well .He's lovely .
We've had no internet connection since Monday .I had to drag myself from my sickbed and read them the riot act .All they do is waffle on the phone but they seem to have fixed it now .I saw an engineer fiddling with the box on the corner earlier so it must have been a general fault .
I ended up back at the doctors on New Years Eve..
Mr S is Ok but I've got some sort of viral/gastric thing which they say will clear up in time .The way I feel atm that will probably be in 2016.

Did everyone enjoy esiotrot? I thought it sweet and predictable. I do not like anything Roald Dahl but this was OK.

House seems so empty without the decs.

I rushed about making 2 curries for this evening (on topo of all the other stuff I was doing!) and we decided to eat it tomorrow as he finished off the turkey soup and fresh crusty bread when he came home at 15hrs, then he kept stuffing his face with mincepies, xmas cake, stollen, and lemon and ginger tea, so ergo he wasn't hungry! I have had several slices of crusty bread with camembert and blue cheese for my dinner.

hello all. Shaney, when i got a viral gastric thing that wouldn't shift, I went to the pharmacist and he said go home and rest for 48 hours, literally veg out and it worked when nothing else did.
Sis and I tried esio trot but couldn't stick it instead we watched Saving Mr Banks which is very Disney but we really enjoyed it.
Happy 10th jno, soon you will be old enough to stay up at night!
Nothing to report here we are vegging around and eating chocolate.

I've just come to having dossed on the sofa all evening .I feel so wibbly wobbly and have no appetite .Since I ate my Christsmas dinner I've been dining on soup and porridge .Mr S offered to get fish and chips this evening but I really can't face anything and for me to refuse a fish supper is bad news.
He's going to get me some metatone tomorrow.

Oh dear shaney, sorry to hear you've been so poorly. Rest, rest and more rest and get well, these things don't 'alf 'ang on. That's why I run a mile if anyone coughs or sneezes next to me. I did wonder too if your internet had been down, so you weren't being ignored, there wasn't much point in asking you by email.

I'm home after the girls won 4-1 this morning. I got soaking wet and have had to change clothes ready to go to Pride Park for 3 o'clock kick off. I must be mad. I bet that's what you're thinking ;-) but I genuinely don't mind walking in the rain. It's a good job I have changes of clothes for later.
I did watch Esio Trot Neti and found it a bit strange at first but was pleased I stuck with it cos it had a happy ending which appealed to me. Also I like Judi Dench and Dustin H.

lol, March is jno's birthday who, considering some of our posts, I sincerely hope is older than 10...it's an AB 10th anniversary...although not until 10 past 9 tonight.
