Canadian Club Sherry Cask Whiskey
Dos anyone know where I can get this mail order please, my usual supplier doesn't seem to have any?
Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

Morning all...I was thinking what a lovely light morning it was and then I realised I'd slept late. Jude should have set her alarm :) Neti, re the baby, you have mail. I mentioned it yesterday afternoon. thwack! ....for not paying attention... I think this will be my song du jour...

we paid for the lunch in equal shares, but I can only suppose my companions (eight of us there altogether) had been drinking like fish before I arrived becasue my share cae out way ahead of what I'd actuallyhad. Ah well, nice to see some old colleagues. Turns out two of them now run oil business consultancies - I don't know what the chances of that are. So there was discussion of Sullom Voe and the future of windfarms... riveting.
It turned out two of them had lost wives to cancer very suddenly in the last couple of years, a more morbid coincidence.

Oh that sounds like the dinner party from hell Jno . I used to love those people who whacked the drink down and a couple of us had only one or water but still had to divvy up .
I remember times when I had to accompany Mr S to work functions and have to make small talk to people I wouldn't have given the time of day to normally .
We all used to buy our round at the Quiz night but there was one chap who always worked it out so he got two drinks to our one and by the end of the night he hadn't paid for any drinks at all and it was then his round just as the pub shut . " Oh I'll be in the chair next week " Next week never came with him ..lol .I never did work out how he managed it !

Morning all...bright and sunny at the moment but rf of minus 7C!...there's either frost or very light snow on the grass, I haven't been outside yet, there don't seem to be many birds about. I think we'll see a bit of snow today, (Met say no, Accu say yes) I can feel it in the air....and my bones.
That's very kind of you Jude thanks, you're a pal, but I'm ok for shopping at the moment. I try to keep the freezer topped up and a friend over the road brings me odds and ends from Sainsburys in between my own trips there to restock.....erm, little footy match today isn't there? :)

Hi all. It's a COYR day! I've got my gear on ready. KO at 12.15. The Rams v Notts. Forest for the uninitiated ;-)
Pleased you're feeling a bit better Woofy. Also pleased the birds keep coming to your garden Robi. I don't know what's happened with my garden. I used to get birds all the time especially black birds but last year hardly any. Just the odd one now and again and you've seen a picture of my bird table, well it's still there. I've had fat balls seeds etc put meal worms on the ground but no regulars like before.
Hope the rest of you are ok and you have a good weekend.

good afternoon, sunny but chilly here.
Nr N slept until 10am which is most unusual, so I went to check he wasn't dead - it's what I do for hija, Mr N and the cat! We did weekly sho, then ate brekkie then went our different ways me to coffee, he to golf.
I have cleaned the house done 2 koads of washing, and one pile of ironing!
