Fief Guerin Single Vineyard Muscadet.

This beautifully enticing white from the Western side of the Loire Valley is packed with crisp fruity favours and delightful floral aromas. This is a complex wine, which has great body and superb length on the palate. Perfect with Asian food, traditional roast turkey or even a cold meat platter on Boxing Day.

Available in Wairose for the normal price of £6.99.

Actually partaking of a small (well OK not actually THAT small) glass of Croft Particular :)
Vino Clock is approaching

A Unison Reserve Merlot 2007 from Hawke's Bay on the agenda.

Lagvulin is a very nice tipple.

Love the Tomatin in particular, upper notes of caramel on it.

Also Scapa Flow and Highland Park from the Northern Islands.....

Neat one on Gins at the moment - the Sipsmith is stunning...no tonic needed, on the rocks and it has a hint of lemon coming through and delish smooth.

I have a nice Italian chilling in the fridge and will uncork after my bath.

I got some Fevertree tonics in the fridge - so may take a long, cold G&T up with me.
I'm never touching another drop.
Not you barfing again on your Avatar, JJ?

You'll have Sqad all over you again to the perils of your liver.
sqad did give me a ticking off, didn't he.

But I did pay attention.

But it's SO Christmassy in the town.

After Friday and Saturday night, I've had a couple of bad heads.

Okay, when I say I'm never touching another drop ... I'm having a small glass of red at the moment. Okay, not that small, LOL.
Not withstanding the physical size differences on average between a male and a woman, a woman's liver is 1/3 the size apparently, because of the repro system packed in there......hence the caution
I went for a run this morning to clear my head a bit.

I ran 10 and a bit miles.

I still haven't tried NoMercy's wine this week. I might cycle to Waitrose in the morning, and see if I can get some.
Question Author
Its a very, very dry wine, JJ... Not everyone's cup of tea.
So ... refreshing, HB ??
Question Author
Very much so, Seagull.
It's really nice though - shame that we don't have a Waitrose here - there is one due to be built.
I thought everywhere had a Waitrose.
Question Author
Ooh JJ, my local Waitrose had Veuve on offer the other day. It is currently on sale at £29.
Nearest to here is Okehampton and Saltash at some 70 miles, Jayne....hoping that we may see them in 2012 in Truro.
Ooh, scrummy, HB !

=0)
70 miles to Waitrose?

Cripes !!!

I can walk to mine, LOL, and "phew".
Question Author
Indeed! I last had Veuve on my 33rd birthday. I think iy is high times I bought a bottle.
You haven't had Veuve for almost a year ??
Question Author
2 years, JJ. I will be 35 in a few weeks.
