Not had it in ages thats why lol and the best parts the bread and butter!! Mmmm

Mabye it was stovies you had which is similar - just one of those dinners uou grow up on and seem to just love! Xx

China will love this then - lovely Cornish sardines.......and a traditional Christmas dish from Mousehole (pronounced Mouzzhol)
Pasta with tuna, prawns and black olives in a tomato/garlic sauce. Loads of parmesan and black pepper.
it's known as stargazy pie......

possibly fish and chips out in a pub this evening.
We're having harissa marinated pork with whatever veg is lurking in the fridge rammed on a skewer, with an orange and char-grilled fennel salad with a chilli, orange and mint dressing.

Mince and tatties/shepherds pies is my food hell, sorry Tinks but I like some texture in my food and M&T, shepherds pie and many other soft/mushy dishes just make me think of old folks homes.
Homemade puff pastry ploughmans pasties with chips and side salad. Suppose I'd better go and actually make them or it'll just be chips with a salad.
Not sure at the moment, the OH isn't home from work yet.
Had halloumi, asparagus and pinenut salad with orzo. Twas delish.
What dressing did you have Rocky, I have all of those in the fridge and it would save me thinking about what to have tomorrow evening!
Just did simple, olive oil, lemon and parsley. Turned out really nice.
Thanks Rocky. sounds good, I'll probable tinker with the herbs as it will be only me that needs feeding and I really can't be bothered going shopping... a lemon/chive/basil/olive oil; dressing is looking likely.....or even more likely a toned down version of this evenings orange and chilli dressing. Waste not want not, etc.....

Sounds nice Eccles. I usually put the halloumi on a griddle but I read somewhere to lightly coat it in flour then fry it til golden brown, must admit I prefered it that way.
I had a solo slim Rosemary Conley, chicken hotpot. It wasn't too bad actually. I then had my 2 treats for the day - Yeo Valley Greek yogurt with honey and a pot of Aero mousse.
I had chilli ding.
We had home-made gnocchi. It was lush! :)
Sausage and mash with onion gravy, yum.
