kippers

im having kippers for tea tonight but im unsure as to what to put them with rice potatoes etc, im on a healthy eating diet so nothing to fattening!


and any ideas on how to get rid of the smell afterwards tia samx

How about shredding the fish and mixing with some couscous, courgettes, mushrooms and peppers.

You could cook the rice in a little stock or with some herbs to give it a bit more flavour.

Re the smell, just pour a tablespoonful of ordinary vinegar into a saucer and lay it on a worktop before even starting the cooking process. Obviously, there will be some smell, but it will soon disperse if you do what I suggest.
