good morning answerbankers

My hubby made me my fave soup yesterday (butternut squash, carrot, red pepper and ginger) and he made rather alot, too much to get through in a week.
is it possible to freeze this? will it lose much quality, texture, flavour upon being defrosted and reheated?

thanks in advance x

Sometimes soups seperate a bit when frozen but a quick whizz with the handmixer will sort it out.

Yes, you can. We used to do it all the time in the shop I used to run, but make sure it is in seperate containers, as you will not be able to thaw one bit of it at a time.

Hope this helps.
