I'm reading a history mystery and in the book the protagonist is invited to look around the house of a lawyer .It's stacked to the gunnels with various artefacts statues ,paintings etc .It reminded me of a museum somewhere in London that was in a private house but I can't remember the name of it .It's bugging me :)
Any ideas as to what it's called ?

Well pop into my surgery if you like lottie...I appear to have gained a healer badge recently. Please see the receptionist on arrival

Hope you feel better enough to enjoy it tonight and that the weather's good for driving.
No one here?...receptionist obviously did her job then.
Better leave 'em some medication, I'm not doing house calls...

Oight Oight all ,sleep toight .
Morning Biddies, looks like a sunny day today. Off to put money into hija's bank so she can get the train to Eastbourne on Thurs to see us. She hasn't been paid yet and the restaurant is looking into it.

Then we are getting the bus to Seaford to mosey around the shops and have a pub lunch, yummy!

Hope all is well.
Morning neti and all...another wild night. The local radio this morning was just an endless list of roads closed/slow due to flooding. It's terrible. And there's light snow forecast for the weekend...aaaggghhh!!!
Morning all. The gig was wonderful. The Arena was full and the age group was about 10 - 80!! We survived the drive back in the rain. I am suffering from aches and pains from walking from the car park to the Arena and back and sitting for four hours, but I wouldn't have missed it for the world. Nottingham pedestrian lights give you a ridiculously short time to cross the road - it's frightening!! I feel sorry for the elderly and inform in Nottingham who may venture into the city.

Am now going shopping and in a hurry so haven't read through properly - see you later (Guess what - it's raining!!!)
(we are obviously a lot slower in Norfolk ;o) )
lol Lottie, yes, you have to shift ya butt in the Midlands. Or, in my case, saunter across and give the mean stare to any driver who has the audacity to start blasting his horn. Actually I think it's the same in most places...apart from sleepy Norfolk obviously. :) The other day a lorry stopped for me where there was no crossing...I'd like to think I've still 'got it' but he most likely didn't want to run over someone who looked like his mum.
I'm pleased you made it and enjoyed yourselves.
sounds like everyone is out and about at the moment - just waiting for the weather to get nasty before you left home, were you? neti, I have a sick friend in Seaford; kindly take her a chocolate biscuit.
I'm not out or about. I should be but it's so cold and windy, I'm putting it off....putting everything off in fact. I've got a letter to write to post to Canada along with a xmas card...just a family news catch up. I'll be able to write it on the back of the stamp.
I ordered most of my Xmas presents online weeks ago - I do a calendar with my own photos then order one for just about everyone. But they hadn't arrived this week so I looked at the website again and omg they're still sitting in my basket. I must have forgotten to click the last tab or something.

Maybe I'd had a Senior Moments Mint or something. Anyway, they're on their way to me now.

Not out and about here either .It's so dark and dismal out there ,still raining on and off and blowy .
I need to shift myself into Christmas mode really but can't be bothered .I managed to write one letter yesterday though and have some things that have to be sent abroad but I need to parcel them up first .Then go and play dodge the soap dodgers in the post office .Not my favourite pastime .
What I'd really like to do is lay on the sofa ,eat chocolate and drink champagne while some minions do all the running about :)
All the ends are missing off the lines of the post on this page. Own up - whose link was it!!!

My eyes will not stay open. Matchsticks neded!!
It'll be jno's minions spreading themselves around Lottie. I haven't had this problem with long links distorting the page. All the same they do look untidy and I can't find an answer anywhere as to why they're no longer shortened.

shaney I'd be happy with a babycham and a box of maltesers if I could have staff to do everything. I didn't go further than the washing line today...accu said real feel 2C and didn't I know it!
a lot of people have been muttering about that, Lottie

I believe the Ed is setting up a Royal Commission to look into it.
Hi all, back and shattered, of course it rained! There is a lovely cheap shop called Happit and we got loads of new clothes there, sweatshirts 2 for £8, bought sister another xmas dress reduced to £3, and many more. Then we had to visit every charity shop and there are at least 6 in the main street, but I did find an lovely sparkley dress/top thingy for hija for £5. Had a lovely pub lunch, scampi for me some chicken thing for sis there again 2 for * with wine. Then we met a chap that we met 2 years ago so he bought us another wine and asked sister out for a curry, she said one day and he trotted off happily!

A car also stopped so we could cross the road Robi but it was a young girl so charisma didn't come into ours!
