To be fair, however, you must face the fact that the confusion is caused by the many religions that muddy the clear waters of Bible teachings with fallacies and legends. When you ignore the traditions and myths and stick to what the Bible actually says, you discover a teaching that makes sense.

Isn't that the Gospel according to George A. Romero?
I just want to know, wherever we go.......... will there be gibbons?

Gibbons cheer me up no end.
Possibly Zeuhl. :o)

Boxy, yes, you get a nice new body - the same as the old one I think, but wrinkle free.

Apparently, there is space in heaven for 144,000 people - but they're the special ones - the 'annointed'.

Goodlife might come back and tell you all about it.

It seems to me almost meaningless to talk to you about legends or myths, when you are dealing with eyewitnesses of yourselves.
Mmmm don't know Gooders. Ask Gordon Brown :o)
Oh come on Goodlife. Your audience is waiting. Don't let them down.
///when you are dealing with eyewitnesses of yourselves. ///

Would you care to explain that little nugget?
Death is not the end. Biodegradation means my molecules will continue to mingle with those of the universe, therefore I will continue. What more could I wish for?
Gosh Naomi

Heaven has only 144,000 places available?

I have to say, Limited Availability is a classic ....

Otherwise known as The Possibility of Loss Close or The Pressure Close: the salesperson points out that failing to close could result in missed opportunity, for example because a product may sell out, or its price rise.
To quote naomi
when he and his buddies will inherit the earth and reside here in harmony for eternity

///reside here in harmony/// as opposed to having a door slammed in your face every 5 mins by realists.
Goodlife, you see this your problem. You preach, you copy and paste huge meaningless chunks from Watchtower and from the bible, but you never actually talk about the nuts and bolts of your religion. How on earth can you expect anyone to be tempted to find out more if they haven't a clue what it's all about in the first place? And then when other people tell them, you don't like it and get all stroppy. If you want to people to listen to you, stop preaching and talk about the nitty gritty.

Zeuhl, if you want to get in, you'll have to be quick. I think most of the places are already taken.
you can have my space, i won't be needing it...
I see all the critics and unbelievers are on form once again today and sprouting of agin

thay do not understand because of their folly//

when they do not really really

do not look for god// act-17 24-28

so this make them blind to the word (the holy book) they laugh and scorn the ones who tried to help.

Yes there are many scriptures in the holy writings giving us an opportunity //

to life on a paradise earth

kjv --psalms 37 give me hope + matt 5-5
Locusts, you and your comrades appear to be consistently overlooking one simple fact. As difficult as it may be for you to comprehend, you have nothing to offer the many who don’t want to spend eternity with you in your imaginary earthly paradise. They accept death as a consequence of life.

Naomi @ Well advocates of atheism must bear a heavy responsibility for much of the godlessness and suffering in the world today.—Psalm 14:1-4

Much the same situation exists today although warned of their impending destruction they accept death as a consequence of life.
Goodlife, atheists aren’t responsible for the suffering in this world, and it's insulting to suggest they are. The world is in turmoil as a direct consequence of religion. Your imaginary future existence holds no attraction for atheists - they bear responsibility for themselves. I’ve invited you to tell us more about your religion, but you haven’t done it, so I can only assume that the limit of your capability is to attempt to frighten people with your woeful tales of impending doom. You continue living to die if that’s what you want to do - but do us all a favour and keep it to yourself.
As far as I am concerned death is the very "End"

Goodlife, when will you ever stop talking bloody silly nonsense that very few believe and the only people that do believe it are already JW's
Question Author
The apostle Paul said that their worldly knowledge is foolishness with God.1 Cor. 3:19

Yes,many people prefer nonsense to truth. They do not wish to be accountable to God for their actions ,and yet there are more lies told about the dead than the living,(Eccl. 9:5)
Goodlife, why do you continue to copy and paste such drivel knowing that people dont believe what is written in the bible?

If I posted extracts from the book about the Easter bunny would it make it more believable.

All the links and quotes mean nothing to the people that dont believe the nonsense contained in the Bible.
Yes.

And the accusation of 'muddying clear waters' can be levelled at the Bible as much as any other religious tract.

In what way does the Bible's teaching 'make sense'? Anything only makes sense if it tallies with your personal beliefs, so for you, it makes sense, for me it makes no sense at all.
