The Tories seem to have conveniently forgotten . That when they call Corbyn and Blair terrorists.
Thatcher was not just a terrorist sympathiser but was also very close friends with one.
Thatcher gave very strong support to "Torture in Chief" General Pinochet of Chile, and called him a true friend.
She even invited him to tea at Downing St. She also personally lobbied against a terrorist prosecution for his war crimes.She personally conducted the whitewashing of his Terrorist Regime
Pinochet overthrew an elected Government in Chile to gain power and was supported by Thatcher.
Thatcher also classed Nelson Mandela's ANC as a Terrorist Organisation.

DD; when you say 'British land', why was it British? Was it given to us by God or was it some scrap of useless land where we landed and claimed it for ourselves (actually not ourselves, as we got nothing out of it; it was claimed for some blinking sovereign or other). Suppose that foreigners had landed on the Isle of Man and claimed it; do you think that 'we' would have taken that lying down, or would we have tried to kick out those cheeky foreigners? It's important to understand the 'others' if we want to make this planet habitable.

Atheist, does it really matter how the Falklands came to be British owned nigh on 200 years ago? What is important is that they are under our rule, therefore we had, and continue to have, a responsibility for the protection of that land and it's inhabitants. When British soil comes under attack by an enemy force, we will act, and so we bloody should.

Does it really matter how North America came to be European owned nigh on 550 years ago? What is important is that they fell under our rule, therefore we had a responsibility for the protection of 'our' land and it's new inhabitants. When the indigenous people came under attack by an enemy force, they acted, and when their conquerors took over we acted and when we took over....... and so it goes on.
