We have water going down the back of the sink and it's running down the wall behind into the cupboard below .This is very complicated :)
The sink is only a gap of about an inch and half from the tiled splashback and has been set into a beechwood worktop .Over time this has started to go all grotty ,the grout is all nasty and any water that gets spashed around is running down the back of it and under the lip of the sink into the cupboard .
This usually only happens when Mr S is doing any washing up .I've tested it with a glass of water :)
My son is going to fit a new sink and worktop for us ....but ..
he's full of good intentions but we may have to wait a while ....
In the meantime is there some sort of waterproof tape that I can buy to shore up this gap pro tem.

.Advice please, I have developed a hard painful lump of skin under my big toe, I have self diagnosed it to be a callus, I have tried to grate it away with a foot grater (no idea what you call them) but that hasn't helped and has made it sorer, any suggestions, maybe a pumice stone? I have absolutely no idea what to use.

You need to give your hoofs a good soak in warm water Neti and then use a foot file (gently) though .Those grater things may be too rough and could make it bleed .Then put plenty of cream on .
You'll have to do it daily to get rid of it .

Yes, I agree with matron, my feet have been fine since I started using compeed heel cream every single day. It's great for dry 'chicken skin' elbows too.

I can confirm the lightning site is accurate, I think it might be the end ...if you see a black spot in the E Mids on the map it'll be where Derby used to be. :o/

So hot Mr N took me to the beach for a light dinner and wine, it was so fresh and cool that I forgot how *** hot it was walking home. Have had a dip in the pool now got the air con on, have to!!

It's raining so hard I can't see out of the windows and it's flooding along the road like billyo ! It's really flashing and crashing now .I can't go to bed in this lot .

Good morning, hope you all survived the rain, except jno who apparently it bypassed!!

I put the aircon on last night as it was just too hot, and then Mr N put the celing fan on aswell to make it even cooler, blimey I was freezing but didn't dare say anything. I was ill prepared as I usually wear a tee shirt nightie when we have the aircon on, and couldn't go rumbling through the drawers in the night to find one!

Obviously a nice day here, eye is driving me mad!
