We have water going down the back of the sink and it's running down the wall behind into the cupboard below .This is very complicated :)
The sink is only a gap of about an inch and half from the tiled splashback and has been set into a beechwood worktop .Over time this has started to go all grotty ,the grout is all nasty and any water that gets spashed around is running down the back of it and under the lip of the sink into the cupboard .
This usually only happens when Mr S is doing any washing up .I've tested it with a glass of water :)
My son is going to fit a new sink and worktop for us ....but ..
he's full of good intentions but we may have to wait a while ....

Some people want to her my neighbour's dog barking, it barks non-stop as soon as they leave at 7am, them it quitens down at 4pm when one of them is home then it shouts it's head off from 6pm to 1am or thereabouts , when I've complained they say they never hear it cos obviously it never barks when someone is home. It has a huge run and shade, but all their dogs do this for the last 25yrs since we've lived here, and now all the neighbours have smaller dogs and it sets them off yapping. I could kill them all merrily! I would be very happy with the occasionaly bark, so don't worry woofy.

Morning all...sunny, breezy and free from the threat of rain for at least 120 minutes :)
Oh dear woofy, one of those days. Hopefully it was only a day. My tripped electric was down to one mini spot blowing which I haven't yet replaced, I'm still achey & don't feel like reaching up there, they're very fiddly. It's ok, it's the one which points at the cooker, there's nothing worth spotlighting in that department.
Did your eye get better neti? I'm sending you something to fill some of those empty hours....

I haven't a clue how to replace spotlights, ours are embedded in the ceiling so cannot even grip them.
My eye Robi? well I think it's a tooth infecion, but have been taking some anti bis of sister's, she stopped them as they gave her a rash, and my eye is certainly not so bad now, but guess it'll come back, Must go for an x-ray at the dentist when I can afford it.
Have to admit that I am very nervous of leccy now, so now I leave it all to himself. I used to love wiring etc.

Yes, if it's broke don't fix it, haha. My lovely old neighbour fell off steps doing something unnecessary and was out of action for 12 weeks
I've got a little gizmo for removing the lamps but knowing my luck I'd pull the whole fitting down.

Have spent the morning dismantling a statue of jno jnr. He made a plaster cast of himself for an A-level art project and it's been standing on the patio for the last 15 years. OH has decided geraniums would look nicer. so he told us to throw it away. A couple of hours thrashing him with a hammer has reduced him to rubble. I was going to saw his head off, but it didn't prove necessary. The whole thing was very heavy and will have to be put in the wheelie bins over a couple of weeks otherwise the rubbish trucks won't be able to move.

Hello all Jno could you not make a rockery out of him? with the head sticking out? Neti I would be mortified if my dogs barked all day but they don't because I am here, also it means the dogs aren't happy. I have got an arrangement with a nearer neighbour to me that they will tell me if the dogs kick off while I am out, they have assured me that they don't, only when someone comes to the door which is allowed. Anyway i think I know which neighbour it is and she's a bit of a...insert your own word here. Heigh ho will phone the council tomorrow and sort it. Went shopping with sis and the dogs today had a lovely time.
Oh back in bed, have had a lovely day. We went into the countyside, and it is so Ibiza, all dried grass and fields and a lovley smell of hot! It just reminds me of when I first came here, to me it is the real Ibiza , it's not the clubbing or the beach or the celebs, it's the sun dried fields, I love it, then we had lunch in San Joan, and brought some home, had a swim now resting cos of the wine effect!
It's been very hot here today ,terribly Norfolk ..lol.Your dogs sound pretty normal to me Woofy .
