Some sort of waterproof tape ..

We have water going down the back of the sink and it's running down the wall behind into the cupboard below .This is very complicated :)
The sink is only a gap of about an inch and half from the tiled splashback and has been set into a beechwood worktop .Over time this has started to go all grotty ,the grout is all nasty and any water that gets spashed around is running down the back of it and under the lip of the sink into the cupboard .
This usually only happens when Mr S is doing any washing up .I've tested it with a glass of water :)
My son is going to fit a new sink and worktop for us ....but ..
he's full of good intentions but we may have to wait a while ....
In the meantime is there some sort of waterproof tape that I can buy to shore up this gap pro tem.

Morning tout le monde...lovely, sunny, blue skies, less windy than yesterday which is nice. It was sore eyes weather yestarday, the air's full of seeds and dust. Apparently it's going to be a tad chilly tonight, hmmm? might have to put a wincy on.

Lovely one again with no precipitation .
Hope you're all ok .I've been a busy biddy today .
Had washing out by 6.30 ,then off to the bakers,came back and then Mr S and I hoovered round between us,washing dry and in and I've just done a load of runner beans for the freezer which my brother gave me .That's it .I need to go and lie down now :)

Morning (or not) all!

I tidied up, shooed Mr N out, and then hija came in, she has a friend arriving today to share her room, mostly for siestas as they will be partying in the nighttime, so I prepared the 2nd bed, mopped and swept all floors, dusted and sprayed deo around as it smells nice. Hotfooted it to town for a quiet coffee on my own as gbf was in Ibiza town, still loads of people to natter to. Just been gardening in my fashion, hacking the branches and twigs from the algroba tree as it was annoying me, and I got covered in bugs. I used my trusty breadknife as per!! 2nd load of washing on, another one to go, am sweating like the proverbial.

hello all, lovely sleep last night. spoke to a very nice dog nuisance lady at the council and from what she told me and i told her, I don't think theres an issue and neither does she.

Hija and said friend, had tapas and wine for lunch, had a siesta and then said friend promptly vomited all over the clean bed, went through the mattress protected (it didn't protect!) all the bedding had to be washed, I tried it on a 30º as it was fresh vomit, but the stain wouldn't come out, so now on timer for a 60º wash in the am. The she flooded the bathroom when having a shower, can't blame the poor girl cos it is onloy a shower curtain in the bath so if not adjusted correctly the water goes all over the place, and it did. I am so tired, we have another day of her tomorrow, then I'll relax.

Hope you're all well.Lovely here but showers later . I'm watching it minute by minute .I've got a two hour window to get sheets dry atm ...lol. Don't think I'll be doing anything in double quick time today .

showers start at midnight here, but it is cloudy and not so hot. Just checked, nobody vomited in my bed last night, so all is well and the sheets can wait another month to be washed.

Well it didn't start after 90 mins, it didn't rain at all...now it says 15 minutes. Who started this? Lightning, rain, frizz and frog alerts, I'm becoming obsessed! :)
