Locks For Writing Slopes?

I have bought a rather nice writing slope on ebay, however the lock doesn't work at all. Its quite easy to remove though and in fact I suspect that its not the original one anyway. I've hunted around but the only supplier of replacements I could find is in america and the p and p is huge.

Does anyone know of a UK supplier of writing slope (wooden box) locks please? Either new or old but they must work and come with a key.

supposed to be a realfeel of minus 2, but it actually feels like plus 6, which is about what it is. Still no sign of the snow though.

Well this biting wind's coming down from the north so by the time it's passed over all of our swearing and central heating flues it'll be several degrees warmer I expect jno.

There's either light patches of snow or sleet lying on my grass.

Hello all. It's all very sad here. Just to tell you my dear friend's husband in Australia has left this mortal coil, bless him. We've known each other since we were all around sixteen/seventeen. Also my aged Aunt who's husband died last week is in hospital.
So there it is.
I'm going to walk to the Rams match and hope I can feel comfortable with my thoughts one way and another. I know they would both want me to go and enjoy myself but at the moment it's not easy.

Dear Jude so sorry, you are having a bad time of it at the moment. Hope the Rams win and cheer you up a bit.
Have had hair cut again as this sticky up style needs constant attention and OMG it looks awful now, it was a different dour chinese man, I look like a GI. Just hope it grows a bit in a week! am mortified.
We were all sitting at a poavement cafe as per usual and there was a dreadful rumbling noise and then two very loud bangs. We just sat there while others opposite and in the streets just threw themselves on the ground, I mean why, oh can-t make signs on here the buffers have changed my keyboard. The cops went racing past which proved it wasn-t serious, doubt they-d been seen in a real emergency but we had to laugh, as we thought well if terrorists came firing past we would all be so laid back and just sit there,

Hi all
What a wintery day.We've had a bit of everything ,rain,sleet,hail and sunshine and that awful roaring wind thrown in for good measure but that seems to have dropped a bit now although it's minus temps out there.
Hope you're all warm and dry though.
That's sad news for you Jude.It's all we seem to get lately.
Not had any computer time today until now as Picky brought his accounts and tax returns over for Mr S to sort out for him ,he does love a spreadsheet,so that's kept him out of mischief today and Picky gave him a bottle of whisky so he's a happy man.

good morning all. can't answer jude as no aviators are showing up atm.
temp has gone from 21º to 12º and its chilly, I kn0w 12º would be warm to you lot but that's one hell of a drop.
Am still tucked up in bed eating toast and strawberry jam and a cuppa. The sun is out and the ground is wet.
