Locks For Writing Slopes?

I have bought a rather nice writing slope on ebay, however the lock doesn't work at all. Its quite easy to remove though and in fact I suspect that its not the original one anyway. I've hunted around but the only supplier of replacements I could find is in america and the p and p is huge.

Does anyone know of a UK supplier of writing slope (wooden box) locks please? Either new or old but they must work and come with a key.

Not a bad day ,sunny atm but still very chilly.

Just been out in the country for a lovely fresh lunch, the taste is amazing when it is really fresh, lamb chops were delicious as was the plate of grilled veg. We started with Crostes which is very hard bread in crushed tomatoes, oil and garlic, it is so delicious. I have to let it soak a bit so not to break my teeth! There was ahuge log fire I mean thelogs were at least 18" wide and 12" long. We had out usual table by it but I was getting a tad warm.

still perishing here and sunny all day, so even if there'd been any heat around there was no cloud cover to keep it in. I shall be away in the Eternal City for the week, so I'll just wish you well in battling all your ailments, before you've even got them. It was going to be warm in Rome but I see they've moved it on to next week, so it won't be much above 10 degrees and showery... must repack.

It took all day for the ice I'd broken on the bird baths to melt. I've had a lazy day along with the rest of the neighbourhood it seems, hardly anyone about.

I'll have you know young Robi that I once grew a lettuce and it was 1" high when it disappeared overnight!!
Mind you this afternoon I felt really ill and slept for 3 hrs. So fresh food obviously does me no good. I feel better now in the warm lounge,pondering whether whether to nibble on some cheese but don't think it's a good idea.
Raining now and for cast for the next 3 days and it'd down to 8° shock horror.

I had a bacon sandwich for tea with two glasses of champagne with strawberry liqueur in it. Its marks liqueur with tiny wild strawberries floating in it. It was supposed to be saved for christmas but its very very nice.....

We do live well don't we.
I had a Greggs steak bake and cheesy beans and Mr S had yesterdays left over casserole.
Nice socks on that site.I've had to buy some tights .God knows when I last wore tights.

Sitting in lounge with warm trackie on and gloves socks and slippers and the gas fire burning. Everyone is moaning about the drop in temp. I love it. Sat outside under an awning having my coffee this morning. They all thought I was mad.
