We have this bush in the garden .When it comes into bloom it looks glorious and it's just starting now .However I have no idea what it is . It was here when we moved in nearly nine years ago .
Any offers ?

Hello all
It's not warm here and it's piddling with rain. I feel as if I've been trampled on by an elephant and I've had Rennies for breakfast.
The lad next door has got a digger and is digging out footings for a conservatory ...in the rain ..I ask you ..The noise is horrendous .
I haven't seen that Neti .I've seen the one with the boxer dog and the other animals jumping about on a trampoline though. The dog is so comical.
Hope you're all ok .

The postman has just been .I've won a notebook and pen from the Daily Telegraph and a cheque for forty quid for another crossword but I can't remember which one.
ooh, well done, shaney. Do you need that to cover the cost of the papers, or are the crosswords all free online?
Question Author
We only buy the telegraph at the weekend Jno and you can email the solution. I think the other one must be from the Times although we don't buy it but I seem to remember we had the wrong supplements inside the Telegraph and the crossword was amongst them so I emailed that and obviously must have been a winner .
we get free Telegraphs and Guardians at the weekend with our extravagant spending in Waitrose (usually £10.01, just to be on the safe side). The rest of the week just free Standards and Metros if we see them anywhere.

And they say newspaper companies are losing money...
Shaney its the same ad but the Obamas are the parents, Clinton is the little girl who is so happy to think shes getting te White house ( trampoline) and suddenly the dog with Trump's head leaps ahead and on it.

Tried to put it here on phone but hasn't worked.
That's the one Robi. I couldn't get it on here. Love it.
What, no casualty tonight???

Haha ..That's brilliant Neti .
Mr S is a terrible newspaper junkie Jno, although he doesn't buy half the amount of papers he used to.He gets that Ipaper every day and has now subscribed to something called The New European. It's a remainers paper ..lol..don't tell anybody. I'll have the headmistress telling me I'm a bad loser :)
The Telegraph have gone downmarket on their prizes though .I won a notebook and pen some years ago from them and it's a lovely leather one which is refillable with a quality pen .This one is a vinyl covered one with a cheap pen and tear out pages which you can't refill.Still mustn't grumble It's nice to get a reward for my efforts.
I haven't checked the Lotto yet ..they say these things come in threes .We may get to Ibiza yet Robinia :)
well done Shaney! Have had fireworks here again, dogs have just settled
the New European's based up your way, isn't it, shaney?
Question Author
Yes it's an Archant publication Jno .They publish the local rag ( the one with all the howlers ) and the EDP and Evening News amongst other things.
I don't think it'll last long, although there are some good (non political) articles in it.
I had a glass of that Perisecco melon drink earlier. It's lovely and very refreshing. I suppose I can still take my painkillers ,it's not all that strong.
Night all.

PS
The funny thing is ,nearly the whole of Norfolk apart from Norwich voted to leave and then they come up with that so I doubt many people will buy it, apart from Mr S of course :)
I've seen it on sale down here too. Plus there's a website but I don't suppose it puts all that much there

www.theneweuropean.co.uk
Morning...oh phooey, one person won the £5million+ on the lotto and it wasn't me. Was it you shaney?

Lovely sunny day... so far. Shame I don't get much sun on my washing line now. Maybe I'll put a whirly thingy in the front garden, I can put lights on it at xmas. :)
Question Author
Hello all
No it wasn't me Robinia .Saved by the bell again Neti :)
Not a bad day here .It was raining first thing but has brightened up in time for that noisy b next door to start up his digger. God knows how far down he's going .He's already filled two skips with rubble and earth.
I can't put any washing out with all that muck flying about. He's a nice lad but this more or less constant DIY is getting very wearing now.
Hope you're all ok .
