We have this bush in the garden .When it comes into bloom it looks glorious and it's just starting now .However I have no idea what it is . It was here when we moved in nearly nine years ago .
Any offers ?

Good morning. Chilly with a slight beam of sunlight.
Had an up and down night with the cat!!!
Hope you are all OK.
Turned out nice again. Have got all my kingsuze bedding washed and dried naturally. Stew in slow cooker, 2 Xmas parcels ready for posting, and now just 2 lots of bedding to iron.
A'noon all...mix of weather here, very windy, showery but bright and blue skies inbetween. Almost did a Mary Poppins with my brolly on the way back from the shops, the only thing keeping me on the ground was my faithful old shopping trolley. I should call it fateful really, I always pick up extra things when I take it 'cos I haven't got to carry them.

Don't you love some of the lah di dah brand representatives on shopping channels? Woman on QVC showing Frank Usher fur trimmed ponchos was listing all the places you could you could wear it....the school run for example (!) So which school would that be where the pushchair brigade look like this then? I couldn't stop laughing.

Speaking of qvc, do Yankee Candles do a chicken stew fragrance? Well that's going to be my excuse for the lingering aroma in here for next couple of days. :)
Ironing done and i eben ate a sausage sandwich for lunch. It is a luxury to have English white bread, English sausages and hp sauce!

Afternoon all
Quite mild here really but a mix of sun and drizz now and again .Of course the drizz starts when I'm in the High St.
Why do rude people have to push into queues? Minding my own in Iceland and this woman barged across me to get something ( the queue goes past the shelf) and then stands there .Cheek.Then when they opened another till she was off over there like a rat up a drainpipe..Tut.
Anyway ,I hope you're all ok.
I think I'll buy one of those for when I put the bins out Robinia :)
Would be lovely for the school run.....imagine all the little darlings getting their sticky lollies stuck on the fluff
had a session with out financial adviser today, who advised us that our already vast fortune has increased by way more than if we'd put it in a bank, so that's good. He advised us to take out life insurance so jno jnr could use the payout to meet inheritance tax and move in the minute we died rather than having to borrow money. His attitude is "Why don't you just give it to me now?" I explained how we might choose instead to bequeath it instead to a squatters' charity.
mine is left in trust for the dogs, goldfish and tortoises.
Good morning all. Yes we also have a financial advisor, well we did, but he seems to have left the job and now there's quite a few of them and not very friendly! Keep getting letters saying we must have a meeting, but we're not going there so they'll have to come here!
Up early today, think the sun is coming up now.

Morning all,
Bit of a drop in the temps ,frosty and a real feel of minus 1.
We haven't got enough for there to be any inheritance tax and all my money is under the mattress :)
Ours is in the stock exchange and does rather well on medium risk, we also get a payout monthly which helps.
Morning all...it's colder here too, lovely blue skies and sunshine but it isn't going to last :(

I got stuck behind someone in Iceland yesterday with a trolley piled high but the girl was doing her best and she did ring for another assistant. Two grumpy old men behind me were having a good old moan. I felt like saying surely you remember the 'good old days' when the assistant had to write everything down, add it up and then work out your change. Ok, maybe we only had baskets and not trolleys but I remember the queues.

My financial advisor is my sister, when we're shopping she's always saying 'Yes, lovely, buy it'. The only thing my family will inherit (before I die) is me when I'm destitute. :)

I wouldn't be surprised if Mr S keeps a spreadsheet on my financial investments .It probably reads something like this...
Another handbag !
How many pairs of knickers does this woman need .
Surely you can only wear one shade of nail varnish and lipstick at the same time.
Not more face cream !
this weather is crazy, it suddenly went from lovely sunshine to wild winds and rain. Now it's blue skies again. Any motivation I had to do something useful got blown too far away for me to get back. That's my excuse :)

haha, with me it's toiletries in general shaney, I like to keep a reserve in my bedroom drawer, bathroom cabinet, under the sink, airing cupboard...The same goes for kitchen and loo rolls. Years of only having Izal left me with a fear that the world's soft tissue supply would run out.
I've just ordered two Avon nail polishes and I get free gift which includes another one. I can't remember when I last did my nails :)

Lol..I have a horror of running out of loo rolls .Always have plenty in stock.
I've got stuff stashed in drawers and cupboards too .Soap ,deo, shampoo and all things like that and the pantry is chokka with tins of sdns, beans and soup.
I'm getting like my Mum,hoarding things. I've never forgotten the boxes of Robin Starch we found stacked under the sink after we cleared out her house when she died.
I think we found Vim and a jam jar with half used dolly blue bags in it at my mum's, hahaha. She had a thing about nighties, aprons and slippers, she panicked if she got down to her last three pairs. We 'sent her off' in some pink fluffy ones. :)
I am a hoarder too....but hoarding wasn’t in my mind when, last year I did a late night order from waitrose and ordered 12 packs of 12 toilet rolls instead of 1 pack of 12 toilet rolls!!
Hoarder here too. I always buy everything I see. Am also scared of running out of Loo rolls. Got piles of them in hall cupbaord and bathroom cupboard and in laundry room. In fact I have loads of everything.
Just spent 2 and a half hours sorting thru Mr N' s old bills etc and financial portfolios going back to 1996. Anything with any reference nor name has be burnt, the recycled all the envelopes and gun after re checking nothing was on it. Will clear out ashes tomorrow when they have cooled.
I have an awful of deodorants, in every cupboard!!
Spent 50 mins in post office queue tonpost 2 packets. We all get a number but there are different numbers for different services so you never know when you are next. Anyway that's done. 20€ for 2 parcels, ordinary post!
