We have this bush in the garden .When it comes into bloom it looks glorious and it's just starting now .However I have no idea what it is . It was here when we moved in nearly nine years ago .
Any offers ?

Oh I'd love bread and dripping!! And salt! Good old days.
Ooh spending, we do love it....don't start me off. I remember many years ago when I first heard about shopping on computers in the future. I couldn't imagine doing that.....hahaha.
had a nice long liquid lunch with an old friend today... not all that liquid, she's on some pill or other that is not good for her liver, but a nice prosecco and glass of wine each in a lovely brasserie deep underground in the West End. I only get invited to lunch about once a year (other times I have to do the inviting) so very nice to get out of the house and it didn't even start pouring with rain till I was safely back again.

I don't have car dreams, Robinia, mostly hosue dreams. The house always starts very nice, though I can never quite remember where anything is (and it's a different house in each dream) but it usually starts to fall apart. I've been told that houses are your dreams' code for your body, so that sounds about right.
we are zorsted, house is a mess and sis arrives tomorrow....what else is new....
Morning all...still dark, still raining, less windy. I saw a few exasperated passers by with inside out umbrellas yesterday.

I often used to dream about houses but my subconscious seems to have lost interest in me.
Nothing interesting to report so here's a random Q for you.
If you had a scooter ( two wheels and a handle, not mobi) which foot would you scoot with? I see kids and the odd adult going by and according to the laws of 1959 they're using the wrong foot.Lol.
morning all. house still a mess, I am still zorsted. Can’t remember which foot I used to scoot with.
I think I'd use the dominant foot, which would be the one on the side of the dominant hand and arm, since that would scoot me faster, but I don't know if there's anything in the highway code about it.

Urggggg, I am sneezing nonstop at the moment, which usually means an imminent cold. I have sprayed First Defence up every nostril I can find, which sometimes helps, but I suspect I have just sneezed it all out again.
Good morning. The electric company are doing work in our area so no leccy ergo no WiFi. Am in town using theirs and having a coffee. As a kid I always dreamt of a noddy car chasing me I would banng on the front door and then I'd wake up. Explains a lot really!!
Beautiful day and so much warmer. Had to take my scarf off. Am wearing a shirt and a filet and jeans and boots. Mr N has gone to work today. And Mousey slept all night and did not disturb me once! I thought she'd died!
Jno my mum used to ingake salt water up her nose to kill cold germs. She swore by it, I just swore as cannot stand liquid up my nose

Morning all
Still quite windy but the rain seems to have rattled out to sea now and the forecast is for it to be dry.
Lol..you've got me at it Robinia .I've stood up and pretended to scoot .I scooted with my left foot.Right foot on the plate.I'm right handed .
Is this a quiz:)
Right foot on plate. Right handed.
Well this has cheered me up, I'm having a good giggle at you pretending to scoot shaney. Did Mr S see you? :) Yes, you two have passed your scooting proficiency test, right foot on the plate. The other way just looks so wrong, I'll push 'em off next time they go by.

Neti that was me chasing you in my dodgem car, you were having a premonition.

Jno, I'm sure neti's got a spare peg for your nose to keep the squirt in.
Jno is not squirting on any of my pegs!
^ ^ said the woman wearing a filet.

:)
Haha filet - a very expensive and hugely desirable article of clothing!!!

:-)
the First Defence seems to have worked, I was sneezing to beat the band but then I stopped. I went out to a talk on sword rests, which was very illuminating. Did you know there are 58 in London and hardly any anywhere else? It's because they were for ceremonial swords so they mostly appeared in places with a lord mayor and his sword-bearer.
going to see Glenda Jackson in Queen Lear tomorrow. I expect to see her laying about with her handbag in true biddy style. If I pick up any useful data about dealing with daughters I'll pass it on to neti.

Morning all
Bit foggy out there but at least it's not raining .
Never heard of sword rests Jno and had to look it up.Very interesting.
They should have stick rests as I'm always dropping mine.
Hope you're all ok. Nothing doing here, just a pile of ironing to do for my brother .I'll need a rest after that lot :)
Good morning. You're up early shaney.
Ive got whatever Mr N had,, thick throat and coughing all night., couldn't sleep.
