We have this bush in the garden .When it comes into bloom it looks glorious and it's just starting now .However I have no idea what it is . It was here when we moved in nearly nine years ago .
Any offers ?

we were awake all night on account of Shughy thinking the weather was coming to get him. We went to sleep at 10am and have just woken and eaten lunch zzzzzzz
Raining here again, leccy just banged off but I bravely switched it up again, hate it, I think the meter gets wet as it's on an outside wall even though it's under cover.
Evenin' all...damp and windy day.
Well done at the dentist woofy.
Won £25 on the lotto last night so I've been out spending it. Sadly it wasn't quite enough to buy the beautiful summer house we saw at the timber merchants (£2,000).

and I am guessing that’s without the base and erection? I looked into it a few years ago!...ended up with a bench and an arboretum instead.

Very late evening all
I've been in slump mode today..lol.
Well done at the dentist Woofy ,very brave ,and well done on the lotto win Robinia ,I hope you spent it wisely and marched straight past the handbags :)
It's been a mostly dreary day here too although there was a burst of sunshine this morning but it didn't last long .Looks like batten down the hatches for the weekend though.
Night all.
Good morning biddies. Looks grey outside. I shall have to stay at home and play with new microwave. Have to do,some shopping in readiness for hospital. I need to buy some new reading glasses, there is some special ones which clip open in the front and they are big enough to hang round the neck, so I guess they'll fit on a bandaged nose, will have to be able to read.
Well done Robi, I don't win anything anymore, and that was very little.
With this new site I cannot make screen shortcuts, driving me mad, and I find it takes ages to load last page!
Morning. It's bright and sunny....for now.
Didn't have a very good night so I'll be good for nowt by this afternoon. I got up at about half past three and made a cup of peppermint tea, I couldn't decide whether my aches were digestive or muscular. Either way it worked and I must have nodded about an hour of so later. Thanks for recommending it woofy, I'm not wild about the taste but it's so calming...and it doesn't half shift the wind :)
Yes, you're right about the summerhouse extra costs. My garden slopes slightly so it would need a good base. In the words of the song, I think I'd better think it out again.

I'm not happy with this new AB either, If I was a newbie I doubt I'd hang around. It was the old stylie that I instantly liked that kept me coming back in ye olden dayes. Then I got involved with a load of wild old biddies and I've been trapped ever since. :)

Morning all
Lovely and bright first thing but it's clouding over now .
I'm not enamoured of this new layout either .The more I look at it the less I like it .
It's like a cheap newspaper site .The drop down menu is getting on my nerves big time.
Too much scrolling and clicking back and forth now ,whereas before you could see the whole lot at once .
I had to laugh at a Q in news though."President grows wings and soars" ...lol...I wish he would grow wings then pigs might definitely fly.
When do you go into hospital Neti ? I hope it all goes well for you .
KBO.

Nose op hopefully next Thurs all being well, but today am feeling rather chilled, hope it's not a cold starting, that'll just be my luck!
That's it shaney, it looks cheap, juvenile and disorganised. I'll get Tarquin to have a squint at it and give his verdict. He's set websites up himself in the past and they looked better than this.

Well the weather's taken a dive, grey and gloomy, I think I'll ...erm...do nothing much.
hello all, glad the mint tea helped Robi. Yes my garden slopes too. Weather very iffy here, more like March than early feb. I have given the kitchen a good going over...sort of lost the plot a bit when my back was bad and I could only do the minimum. Am making plans to do a big turn around upstairs. I wonder if it will come off?

I keep cleaning little places and feel better but woofy now you've made me realise there is so much more to do and I just do not feel up to it. Surface is clean and tidy but under the beds, in drawers, ([ooh shudder!)]!
I've forgotten how to do italics, help!!
do italics work with this new format
Oh yes
Neti before your word(s) you do [ i ] this [ i ] but without any spaces.
thank you Robi I thought there were I in it but couldn't remember!
testing I was just watching Monty Don. One of the people he was advising made a ruin in their garden... a real one made from recycled bricks. It was just astounding...would have taken prizes at Chelsea...the bloke reckoned it cost then 24,000 to do!!!!!!
Oh woofy I have a ruin in my garden, its my house!!!
Question Author
I look at an old ruin every morning....in the mirror
The wind is getting up a bit strong here.I don't think it's quite a severe as other parts of the country though.
Night all.
