We have this bush in the garden .When it comes into bloom it looks glorious and it's just starting now .However I have no idea what it is . It was here when we moved in nearly nine years ago .
Any offers ?

I'll keep everything crossed for you Neti .You don't want to have cancel after waiting all this time .
Dreary cold damp day here and...... http://tiny.cc/4t81iy .
Looks as if cold days are on the menu for a while again .
Have you finished washing those pots yet Robinia? :)

Oh dear damn cold is coming out now, headach, itchy eye and snuffy nose! It I'd doesn't get any worse I'll still go!! Can you believe it???
I've washed both beds and cleaned so it would be fresh for when I come out of hospital! Even folded them straight out of the dryer and thy didn't need ironing! Getting lazy I am!
A'noon...here at last. Couldn't get any internet in this big pc this morning so I swore at it and left it to sulk. Still nothing this afternoon but it said it was connected to www and I was receiving emails. So I tried IE and voila! here I is. Obviously a problem with Chrome.

Yes shaney, last night's pots done but now I'm collecting some more in the bowl. I've been sorting and throwing out old make-up, that metallic blue eyeshadow just had to go but the Tangee lipstick's good for another six months :)

Oh dear neti, hope it doesn't come to anything. As I scrolled down this page I thought you'd posted 'I've washed both ends....' haha. You'd better do that as well.
Hahaha Robi I have indeed washed both ends, and the middle and the top! Clean gal I am!
Oh Holby tonight, I love it. And Moorside. Did anyone watch Apply Tree Yard, I enjoyed that!
Question Author
I haven't watched Moorside yet and not sure if I want to,much as I like Sheridan Smith.Watched Back in time for Dinner and a programme about Sicily tonight and Michael P of course.
Am on the fence about Apple Tree Yard.It started off alright and was well acted but I found myself losing interest in two totally self absorbed, selfish cheats manipulating each other and lying through their teeth although she didn't deserve to be raped. It was depressing. There's a book apparently but it's not something I would read.
Good Karma Hospital was good though and I like The Halcyon Hotel.
I'm off to bed .Night all.
Where's Woofy, btw ?
Morning from a dull and dismal Derby. I can tell the weather's changing, I'm as dizzy as hell.

Yes Holby was a good one, I was mumbling 'Please don't go' every time Henrik appeared, I love him. I watched Moorside, it was bit hectic but one of those things that draw you in and you can't stop watching. The dog thing on itv was a bit of light relief afterwards.
I couldn't get into Halcyon or Good Karma Hospital.

I think I spotted woofy wandering around yesterday.
Good morning! Freezing here again! Am out buying bits and bobs in case I go in tomorrow! Cold still not full on!
I didn't even bother with Good Karma, don't like that sort of thing! I like halcyon!
Am looking to buy a soft sweep wall. Lock as iv3 broken the dining room one but they are all huge and expensive!
I hoped Hansenn would stay also! Isn't Isaac awful?
Question Author
Morning all
Dull and dismal here too and really cold .
Ooh take it easy Robinia .We can't have two drunken sailors lurching around:)
I've been alright (touch wood) since the last episode.
Nothing exciting to report .Keep warm.
Every day's a cryptic puzzle with you neti, that would be wall clock I think? lol. Isaac's a piece of work, I hope he gets his comeuppance.

I saw one of the locals while I was out yesterday, I knew he'd been unwell for weeks, I'd seen someone else walking his lovely little dog. Apparently he's had awful dizziness and yesterday was his first walk around the shops for 5 weeks. Apparently his doctor had given him nothing at all to help... tut... poor man. Maybe these things do go away eventually but the nausea's awful and stemetil really helps with that. (There could be some reason he can't take it I suppose) I'd be lost (in space, haha) without it.
Yes Robi I make these typos by mistake so the oldies keep their brains active! No sorry, it was the phablet and it kept sticking and I didn't have my specs on anyway.
It is freezing here, and yellow alert for high winds!!
Doing my best to keep the cold away!
"By mistake" what! On purpose!
afternoon all, I have been at home the last week without phone nor internet, courtesy of BT. Probably caused by them trying to get the new big AB to fit on the web. Nice week in the Caribbean, a little marred by my getting a bad cold, then the runs, then vomiting, over the last couple of days and adding jetlag to it. Let that be a warning against eating at Hemingway's old haunts. I am still rather washed out.

Hope everyone is well.

Yoohoo Jno ,welcome home .I hope you soon feel better .Not very nice when you're on your hols to feel poorly like that. You haven't missed much. Same old in spite of the brand new all singing ,all dancing AB :)
I'm fed up,fed up with Barry Bucknell next door .He's going at it hammer and drill big time today and we can hardly hear ourselves think let alone talk. He's been here nearly a year now and not a day goes by without the dulcet tones of a bloody drill.
The good news is Sainsburys brought the shopping .I was having fruit pastille and coconut biscuit withdrawal symptoms:)
Welcome back jno. Would live to see Hemming's places! We went to his house in key West.
Can you all decipher my post? It's the silly phablet, doesn't type!
Welcome home jno, sorry to hear the last couple of days literally went down the pan though. Take it easy.

What a thoroughly miz day it's been. I've managed to stay upright (so far) but haven't done much. I knocked a bowl of sugar over but thankfully it all stayed on the worktop so no bending down required.
Snap shaney, my neighbours were having something done for hours, probably not as loud as yours but the constant drone makes you irritable when you feel off it.
Good to hear your cupboards are full. No matter how many fancy biscuits I might have I hate being without some plain morning coffee dunkin' ones. :)
Neti, you can see his house outside Havana - the thing is it's only 90 miles from his place in Key West. Similar in some ways except that the Cuban one doesn't have the mutant cats.
I loved his house in Key West, very similar to some here in the early 70s. Loved his 6 toed cats, mind you they didn't hang about long enough to to count the toes! I'd love to go to Cuba before it gets ruined!
What is going on here... AB on my desktop has defaulted to a 2013 homepage and I can't get it to go to any other page. It's ok on my iPad, which I'm now using. Is it just me?
