We have this bush in the garden .When it comes into bloom it looks glorious and it's just starting now .However I have no idea what it is . It was here when we moved in nearly nine years ago .
Any offers ?

**and not fried it first* and that rudecword was s p @ g bol!!
well I bet it tastes lovely. I have managed to cut my tongue and have a choice between delicious but agony or bland with no pain.
looking a bit damp out there. I went out in sunshine yesterday and got caught in a monsoon on Whitehall. I suppose I'd best carry an umbrella till next May at least.
Morning...Foggy head after an interrupted night followed by an epic dream. Woke to the sound of hammering rain, then it brightened up, now it's windy and undecided.
Ouch woofy, have you been licking your Christmas card envelopes already?

crusty bread Robi :(
oooh... I love it but my teeth don't.

Hello all
Bright and sunny here after a rainy start.Chilly though.
Hope you're all ok .I've hung on the phone again from 8.am and have now managed ,by putting my foot down with a firm hand ,to get Mr S an appt for this afternoon.
I love crusty bread too but it doesn't love my teeth either .I still eat it though but cut it up into small pieces and chew carefully .I'll be needing a Tommee Tippee bib soon :)
my teeth can stand it but my tongue didn’t :(
Hello all. Making beef stew in slow cooker. Met sisters in town walked round shops, had lunch, now they are in hotel and will be up later. Bought crusty bread but am like shaney, cut it into very small pieces. Raining here also. Still got bad cough. sisters go at 9am tomorrow so I'll stay at home all day.
Good luck Mr S x
Evenin all...the sun decided to shine long enough to allow me to shop. The wind was really cold but it was pleasantly autumnal. Got all warm and cosy with fleece throw on the sofa this afternoon, nodded off and the next thing I knew it was 10 past 5. The wind was howling and rain lashing on the window....tut.

Fingers are crossed for mr s shaney.
hope all went well for Mr S.
I'm going to lose weight tomorrow, its extraction day, but I've had so many out it doesn't worry me any more. I hope overconfidence doesn't blow up in my face.

I hope everyone is feeling better. Cut tongue, ooh, I hate that. I don't even like paper cuts on my fingers. I suppose it's because it proves even the most innocent household items can be deadly killers. "It was Professor Plum with page 5 of the Express."
I hope all goes well for you tomorrow Jno, I am not so blase about dentists. I think the worst cuts come from those sealed packets of sliced cold meat. I did a real good un in Tescos a few years back, nipped to CS to ask for a plaster because even though the cut was small it was running all over the place. The fuss! You’d have thought i had at least cut my leg off!
Stew was fine, sisters now gone back to hotel. MrN is taking them to airport at 9am but I won't go as notuch room in car. So sad as i missed 4 days of them. Trying to talk middle one into coming here for Xmas.
Good luck jno. My mouth still hurts!!!

Evening all
Good luck at the butchers Jno.
It's been very chilly here today with a cold east wind .Safe journey home for your sisters Neti .Shame you were under the weather, hopefully you can get together another time .
The doctor seems to think it's a cyst ..deep sigh of relief ,as a return of the cancer was the first thing on my mind.He offered him antibiotics but he refused them and has to go back in a month and have it checked .So all's ok hopefully.
Mr S.said he was a nice doctor ,a locum, not our usual GP .He asked Mr S if he was german and it turns out his wife is german and also a doctor and he lived for some years in Braunschweig.
Funny how a little cut can be be such a sore thing.I'm very fond of choppping into my fingers with a vegetable knife sometimes.Don't start me on tuna tins ,they're fatal for cutting myself on.
Have a good night all and sleep tight.

Morning all...chilly but hopefully it'll stay dry, it's washday Wednesday.

Heck woofy, didn't they whisk you away to hospital? You can be dying at home and get no help but come over a bit woozy or spring a nosebleed in a shop and the next thing you know you're in the back of an ambulance with a tampon up each nostril.

Good luck jno...is it a gold one? Will we'll be finding it gift wrapped in this year's bran tub?
I'm never over confident about any interference.... doctors, dentists, hairdressers.

That's a relief shaney. I know a man who had a similar thing and that was a cyst. Sister's had a fatty cyst too....or fatty sister, haha. She isn't fat. :)

Bit late for morning all..lol. I got up full of good intentions, looked out at the rain and went back to bed.Still raining ,chilly and mizz.
Hope you're all ok .
Breathing a huge sigh or relief with you Shaney. Email received Neti, its lovely. Hope you are OK Jno.
Robi there was much panic in Tesco’s because they couldn’t find the designated first aider so couldn’t give me a plaster. I din’t want to say oh forget it because I didn’t want to bleed all over my car. Now I keep a plaster in my handbag!
