smelly carpet shampooer

I have a bissell carpet shampooer which is absolutely the bees knees. It is easy to use and really gets my filthy dog-defiled carpets clean again. The only trouble is that while I do clean it after use and let it dry in the air before putting it away, it is beginning to smell, I guess because some dirty water is always left inside it somewhere. has anyone else had this problem and found a solution to it please?

I think I am going back to the doc about my tropical moments, they seem to be getting worse again...not next week, I will be housebound while Rab has stitches in. Its still raining here, gonna shorten that to ISRH because I am bored with typing it...apparently a fairish weekend then frost so there's a bit of variety.

Evening All. A busyish day for me visiting. To see younger sister. Can't remember what initials I gave her. Then I came home and fed myself and then went to visit my elderly Aunt and Uncle. My Aunt wasn't very well I think she has a chest infection but she refuses to go to the Dr. So what can you do.
I shall be off on Skype at about 7 so I hope you all have a good night.
I've read all your posts. I'm pleased your feet have been seen to Lottie and that they continue to feel better.
Neti it has been very warm all day here. Hardly rained. In fact I got all my washing dry including bed linen and towels.
I'm an expert at Zilch Robi and I think the idea is daft. As if you would believe someone who says they are. They may just be saying they are for the heck of it. How would they every prove it without giving personal details away.

Anyway - oight oight everyone. I'm off to Nottingham tomorrow so see you when I see you.

My Tues lunch friend gets her biopsy result today. Very nerve-racking for her.
