smelly carpet shampooer

I have a bissell carpet shampooer which is absolutely the bees knees. It is easy to use and really gets my filthy dog-defiled carpets clean again. The only trouble is that while I do clean it after use and let it dry in the air before putting it away, it is beginning to smell, I guess because some dirty water is always left inside it somewhere. has anyone else had this problem and found a solution to it please?

Afternoon dearies, my what a lot we are!!

Had a super time at this show thing, horses, dogs and black goth like morris dancers, a weird mix. sister's granddaughter got 5 rosettes for her dog, none of them firsts though. My right hip is aching like billyo now, guess it was all the tramping over uneven ground which was very muddy, but the weather cleared up and almost sunny, but chilly. No sign of Elsie or gherkins to my relief. Had a photo taken with a very comely morris dancer (they black up their faces for some non pc reason) and he had a huge stick popping out of his belt, well I had to look twice! The photo was done on a video so cannot show it as you can hear our jocular and rudish comments! I do love you people over here, such a great sense of humour I ate an "99" which actually cost £1.50p !

I just had tescos beef rib in gravy. It comes ready cooked vacuum packed and you just microwave it.....very nice and loads of leftover gravy for dog breakfast.
