A visitor upset a bottle of urine. How do I get rid of the smell from my carpet?

Sprinkle bicarbonate of soda over the area, leave 24 hours then vacuum, then a quick spray with febreeze.

I'm guessing it was not that sort of bottle. For future reference have a plastic washing up bowl by the bed to put bottle in, saves risk of future spills.

You can buy sprays for pet urine on carpets, probably works for human urine too, available from most supermarkets, pet shops, Amazon.
Lots of brands to choose from
