I don't understand that sentence.

Scanning wrong items and losing stock is not a good thing. Your supervisors job is to correct your mistakes. Maybe you are still being evaluated and they don't want to give you overtime if you are not doing well

Abbey, respect - like trust - has to be earned. You've maybe not made a great impression at work. It took you a while to get the hang of the codes, you've put in a few requests for time off ( a week for your birthday), shift changes, and so on - you were even going to ask, at very short notice, for your hours to be changed to fit in with your social calendar. Maybe the supervisor doesn't like you, but if you do your job to the required standard she'll not be able to complain.

She said to me there have been issues.

If it's referred to as overtime, that suggests that 10 hours is your contracted hours. It sounds like what happened with your previous jobs- the hours are reduced until you leave. So arrange a meeting at which you make it clear you need more hours and they are honest about their expectations for you

Which I'm trying and I did what I was told to do by the end of my shift.

Question Author

They've already told me there has been a ban on overtime.

Just said if I'm ever in doubt ask

So it looks like it's 10 hours or nothing for the foreseeable future. What do you think you should do then abbey? Have you asked your Mum for advice?

Question Author

No couple of weeks ago she said I don't want to applying for new jobs don't look good on my cv

Abbey, maybe your supervisors, bosses, have felt you're not really up to the job - and for all sorts of reasons?  You seem to have had a few problems, you are 'having trouble' with a supervisor, you described a colleague as ' snake'...

Do not worry about not feeling respected, everyone has to learn things on a job, suck it up and learn and prove to them what a good worker you are. No one has a right to expect overtime and it appears the company is trying to help you. Be the best there.

Question Author

Neveracrossword I guess there a snakes in all jobs.

-- answer removed --

Abbey, yes, there are snakes in many job, organisations -but you seemed keener to call your colleague one than to own up to and learn from the mistake that you had made!

PS Your supervisor doesn't need to like you, she just needs to be able to trust you to do your job. Do that and you WILL get respected.

I also wanted to start my driving again.

You've been there over three months now, and should be used to the stock. It doesn't matter whether your supervisor likes you (and you seem to have had problems with previous supervisors), the most important thing is that you do the job you are paid for.

Abbey, if I remember correctly, you have had problems with various supervisors in the past ... they don't have to like you ... they are only doing their best to see that you are doing your work correctly and show you how to do it if there are problems.  Maybe you don't like being criticized?

I started off cleaning but yes I know the best selling products. This one just doesn't think before she speaks. I was told when you get into the big wide world you are going to meet people you don't like but yes maybe we will get on in the futre. I don't really want to be applying for jobs again looks bad on cv.

When did you start cleaning, Abbey? You said you started (this time) on the checkout.
