It's an offence to sell items after their "use by" dates, not their, "best before" dates.

Your friend mght be mistaken, Abbey.  If they're selling out of date Easter Eggs I assume what they're selling should have been sold before last Easter - which makes them a very long way out of date.  If you're not taking the job it's irrelevant anyway.

Just because they are Easter eggs, doesn't mean they are out of date or even best before. It seems highly unlikely any would already be older than best before...chocolate lasts longer than 6 months. Did friend see actual date ...or is she assuming and spreading untrue information?

Baileys sells mainly in bulk to trade and they advertise that much of their food is cheap due to being very near the " best before  date"

I can't remember what health problems you have, I know you have epilepsy but I think you also have a neuro divergent condition.

It would be worthwhile speaking to a benefits advisor at CAB to see if you are entitled to claim PIP or other disability benefit.

They can help you fill out the forms.
