Those gays and the hotel law suit

Do you think the outcome of the sueing by those two gay men against the christian hotel owners would have been the same if the hotel owners were of a different religion (that's equally against homosexuality) such as Islam?

How is it a landlord of a pub can chuk you out on the street with out having to give any reason at all . Is this not discrimination

joeluke,maybe if you were part of a group that wanted to be afforded the same rights and protection of the law as all others-then maybe you also would want to fight those who still blocked you from making use of those rights.

I don't think people are chucked out of pubs for no reason. I was chucked out of a pub in my early 20's but that was because I was up to no good.

I'm sorry jth but I'm with doc on this I find it absolutely disgusting that the law is on the side of soddomists & buggerists & I would not under any circumstances want them in my house, I know from reading all of the posts on this theme I will be upsetting many of you, I cannot help that, what people get up to in their own homes is of couse their business but when you start to involve the lives of other decent people & their way of life as the hoteliers were, then in my ''biggotted'' opinion the law is wrong.

I've said in another post, people get chucked out of clubs and pubs all the time when the landlord / barman / doorman fancy it, but if it came down to it, they'd always give an "acceptable" reason for it

I really cannot grasp how anyone can justify treating any group of fellow humans differently because Nature made them different. Colour,or sexual orientation are determined by Nature ...not choice. But some of you would put gays back in hiding...
Just TRY to put yourself in their shoes.....maybe forget your prejudices for once.
You don't have to approve or accept what they do....but why should they live a hidden life?
