I've known the right answer to several of the final-round questions including tonight's (I can't remember them now but I think one was an oak tree and one was a cricket ground?) But I'd never get that far, I'd be knocked out at the start for not knowing someone in Coronation Street.
He said he wouldn't retire for a year but he jacked his job in straight away - good for him! I thought he was brilliant and appeared to be a very nice bloke.
I haven't seen the edition where the million was won - I have them all recorded - but I saw the one where the science teacher got the simple science question wrong - and she'd already done 50/50 so had only a choice of two answers. Unbelievable! 'Funambulist' was genius level by comparison!
I usually know most of the high value questions but often get stumped on a sub grand question about things that most of the country know but I have no interest in. Things like soaps, x factor winners etc!
