I never doubted it for one minute ! It was pure bliss listening to Pat tearing a strip off the truly ghastly Ursula !
Phew!

I have just got back from my meeting in Bristol, and listened to the first 10 mins sitting in the car. My best guess is that Justin withdraws the job offer on Monday.

And Tom and Kirsty get engaged again !
Titchener - has he driven off to top himself? Slaughtered by the social worker and the judge, and possible rejection as estate manager, very limited access (supervised) to Jack/Gideon, ego thoroughly deflated....
Question Author
Lets hope so Fred !
I'd love to have heard exactly what Henry told the Social Worker, obviously not what Rob coached him to say.
Perhaps they realised that Rob must have been responsible for the scalding bath water, and therefore a danger.

As regards Tom and Kristy, no engagement surely. She won't allow herself to be hurt again. This is just a session for old times sake.
Having listened to the omnibus I found the hour long jury deliberations a total bore and not archeresque at all, could have been a separate afternoon play - plus the way they were arguing did not suggest the actual outcome at all. i should have turned on at 11.
I think the jury story was that the Nigel Havers character tried to hijack the whole event for his own purposes. After his own court battle he hated women, and saw punishing Helen as a strike against his ex. Once this came out the other jurors would have seen through this and sided with the Eileen Atkins character.

Caroline can be an awful bloody miserable old cow sometimes !
Well you would be in the circumstances Mikey. Joe virtually blackmailed them to het him stay there! Dreadful to say this, but it has gone a bit flat, hasn't it.
I hope Kirsty doesn't end up pregnant.
Question Author
Helly....yes, I suppose it has ! But they couldn't have kept running at the pace that they were going at for ever.

Rob is still to get his complete comeuppance, so still some fun to come.
Bet Kirsty does end up pregnant - no matter, she and Tom are made for each other. No, Rob won't top himself (more's the pity) he'll ferment in quiet and reinforce his 'right' to Gideon/Jack (poor kid). My guess is that he'll do anything (I mean anything) to have his son with him. Not sure about Rob's grasp on sanity at the moment and it looks as if Justin will sack him.
According to the Radio Times 'Justin proposes a start date that clashes with Rob's stoma reversal surgery'. Also 'Emma feels increasingly uncomfortable about accepting money from Rob for babysitting Henry'. Not sure about that, as Henry isn't going to go to Rob's again, is he? Unless it refers to previous times? We shall see.
From the scriptwriters' viewpoint, I suggest there's still a lot of mileage in the Titchener saga. Presumably at at some stage Helen will start divorce proceedings. That may raise again the matter of custody/access to Jack/Gideon. I think I read somewhere that Sean O'Connor said there are 30 years' and more of the saga to come. (Though of course that is now beyond his control)
Not sure I can live that long, frugalfred.

OK, what we need is an AB group of psychics who can relay story lines. Anyone volunteering anyone to start?

Alternatively, Heaven will include 'Archers' updates one way or another I'll be OK. :)
Sorry I won't be able to join you, jourdain; I just hope that Radio4 is available in Hades.
:)
If Justin keeps Rob on, there is plenty of mileage in the Adam story. Adam couldn't work under Rob's control.

Alternatively, if Justin sees through Rob, perhaps he will realise Charlie was OK, and he might re-appear on the scene.
