When they went into the house to arrest the man they thought was the murderer and he was watching that old film there was Kent and Stockman but who was the other guy ?
neti, I'd just monitor the situation until someone comes along who knows what they're talking about.
Goodness, Lottie, I never knew that about Tamils. You're making Norfolk sound almost interesting. I wonder if I should make a pilgrimage to visit the Broads.
Norfolk is a wonderful county jno, with loads of interesting history and things to do and see. Fortunately people think it is just a flat uninteresting county and only seem to think of the Broads. We are nowhere near the Broads. But the Broads are lovely.
Anyway the royal family are very fond of it.
We chose to live in Norfolk and both uprooted with no jobs to go to. The best move we ever made!!
Picky had to go to Walsingham quite a bit a while back while they were doing some renovations of some sort .He's often to be seen in your neck of the Norfolk woods Lofty .
It's far from flat here too Jno,or so my knees tell me as I lug up the hills from the lower part of town .
I've just nearly spluttered my coffee over my keyboard Robinia :)
Happy Birthday Mr N .
we did do a Tour de Norfok many years ago and it was very nice. The trouble is being so far off the motorways it takes a while to get there. I've been planning to do it again when we have three or four nice days in a row predicted... but of course that hasn't happened for many a summer now. It is still on my list. I did get the train to Norwich for the day last year and enjoyed the cathedral.
Neti, your blood pressure being a bit low has nothing to do with you fainting yesterday. Mine often drops to that level. Stop taking your blood pressure regularly it can drive you mad!!
Mr LL's blood pressure is very low, always has been - he has only ever fainted once and that was during a bad spell after his heart attack when he lost his blood pressure!!!
This thread is getting like the Alex Lester show (its okay, that's a good thing) We have sunshine here and dryness, the forecast was for heavy rain so go figure.
erm, what's bloop pressure neti? :) I doubt mine's ever been low but it's been high enough to cause raised eyebrows several times.
Coming from over the hill in Notts and Derbys I don't think I'd like anywhere too flat which I always assumed Norfolk was...I'll have to take another look at it.
Oh well that's typical .I send Woofy my sunshine and dryness and what does she send me back ?
Rain and more rain .It's sloshing down here .There won't be much of the Norfolk Broads left at this rate Jno .We'll be floating in the direction of Holland soon and you'll have to paddle up here in a canoe via Essex:)
Come and see us Robi. You will then see that a lot of Norfolk rolls and we have cliffs. People all assume that Norfolk is dead flat. It is in a fair number of places. Mind you whilst people think that Norfolk is flat and bleak and boring they won't come here (especially as we have no motorways) and that suits us fine.
We don't have hills like Derbyshire though I would agree!! ;o)
The Fens in the north are very flat indeed but they are mostly in Cambridgeshire and Lincs.
Off to settle down and watch the Grand Prix. The sun is apparently shining at Silverstone. I even watched most of the qualifying yesterday. I am getting to be quite an addict!
we've just had a mini shower but I didn't panic, left me bloomers flapping on the line and now it's sunny and blue sky again, so I'm having a 'play at being happy day'. Looking forward to the tennis and I'm listening to a compilation cd I put together of upbeat dancey/singalong tunes...it's probably a bit loud, don't think the neighbours like it, they've started banging about. :o/
