ooh it's stopped raining and the sun is out .My computer is very slow for some reason so I'm going to close down .I need to consult a child about it .I think my fan needs dusting .

I seem to be whizzing along again now .Strange .Perhaps the rain got into Mr Bransons pipes .
my puta's had a good sleep all afternoon while I watched the tennis...fantastic stuff from Andy, well done lad. I won't mind if you beat the lovely Roger on Sunday.
I couldn't watch.the tennis cos it pixelated. Yes well done Andy.
Shaney ours has been all over the place because they are starting to put the new stuff in for infinity (BT). I got my aerobic exercise today. I have started putting stuff back into the attic, five boxes a day. the garage is overflowing with empty boxes, antiques in their own right, so assuming its not torrential tomorrow I will be out there collapsing cardboard...anyway bed time...oight oight.
There is a serious flood warning tomorrow, I hope Vinny will keep his feet dry

Well do you know there have been three big BT vans parked out here all day until this earlier this afternoon and they were digging and drilling away like Biily O. So that may have had something to do with it .It was driving me potty this morning .Really slow .
Yes, well done Andy .Be nice if he wins especially as it's the Jubilee year .
I had some strawbs and cream earlier :) They were lovely .Local ones, my brother brought round .This evening I've made a pie ready for tomorrows dinner 'cos the pie fiend is coming to take me to Lidl and cut the grass IF it doesn't rain .
How very virtuous Shaney :)
Oight Oight folks .
Oh dear, I have done something daft. I take my blood pressure tablets plus my anti anxiety tablets in the morning and my arthritis pills at night. But instead of taking my arthritis pills tonight I have taken another lot of blood pressure pills, and have now topped it up with my arthritis pills and half a bottle of red wine!!

Hopefully, you will see me tomorrow!!

Oight oight.

(I hope Andy wins because we could do with a British champion)
sounds like you should have a wonderful night, Lottie - maybe the effects will continue through tomorrow
whoops Lottie, hope you are okay.
We managed to get out in drizzle this morning and now its pouring down so feeling smug. And sleepy.
Morning all, dry and sunny for the moment...hope everyone, 'specially dahn sarf, is safe from floods.

That's quite a cocktail Lottie. I once took a bendrofluawatsit before bed...didn't make that mistake again, tut. I'm pretty sure I've taken too many paracetamol once or twice too.

I know I'm a little behind (leave it) but last night I felt rough and wanted something to occupy my mind so I watched Slumdog Millionaire for the first time...it was brilliant, what a fantastic film. I'm not the worlds biggest film fan & usually find award winners a let down but not by that one. For anyone who hasn't seen it it's on again on Tues, 9pm, More4. (Someone did lend it to me on dvd ages ago but I never got round to watching it and had to give it back).
Slumdog Millionaire was wonderful, except I could have done without the police beatings. Now I always hesitate before ordering a bottle of water in a restaurant.
Oh yes jno, a lot of it was harrowing. Can't stop watching this video, I might even watch it again on Tues (there's always a bit you missed)

Slum Dog is a brilliant film. Saw it at the cinema the first time (on a rare visit these days) and then again on Master LL's very wide screen TV and enjoyed it just as much again. A rare cinema masterpiece in my opinion and I love all the music and dancing at the end!!

I survived by the way!!

Quite a nice morning, but I am tired - I wonder why

Bendrowhatsit ha, ha. That's what I call it when I order repeat prescriptions on the phone. Somewhere recently I read or heard a nurse saying they should rename it Ben Smith for everybody's sake!!

Morning all
Not too bad atm ,quite bright and breezy ..whispers ...no rain as yet .
I haven't seen Slum Dog so have made a note to watch on Tuesday.
Things to do today so see you later ..
Keep taking the tablets folks and tapping your feet :)
Good morning again. Its still raining here. I have coffee, Shughy has gone back to sleep and Rab is guarding the back garden with his head out of the open door and the rest of him in the dry. In other words same old same old. I am glad that Lottie survived....
I have just noticed a piece of fish finger packaging sat on the mantlepiece and realised it has been there a week...do you think this is a Sign that I am a lazy person?
Some dark clouds and a bit of rain has just hit us Shaney. I think it is going your way ;o( .

Just spent five minutes transplanting a few plants, but am still in my dressing gown!! It wouldn't take a lot of persuading to go back to bed!
Morning all, well a bit late. Stinking hot here, glad lottie survived the booze and drugs, so we have out own Amy Winehouse here now!!!

Done weekly shop with Mr N then trotted off to other end of the village to by Salad cream (4€) and some fruit gums, well there's no partying so a girl's gotta have fun, although it is Mr N's birthday tomorrow, but he's all miserable saying what's the big fuss moan moan moan!!

I fainted in a shop, was squatting down looking at mirrors and then got up too quickly head revolved a couple of times, then I woke up on the floor with people attending to me, refused to go to hospital, life's not long enough for all that waiting and there is nothing wrong, just the heat, was glad to get up the hill and be home though, didn't think it advisable to swim until I feel a bit better. Have managed to get Formula 1 on the red button on BBC W Mids so hopefully will catch the tennis!

Shaney did you know that Sarumite has had a hip replacement, bless him! He's OK.

Off to hangout the washing, managed to buy a huge load of all white pegs, so should be Ok for a while as my black ones are still Ok and have a lot.

Hope you are all Ok, love you
oo Neti, with blac pegs and white ones, you could do piano keys all along the line.
My lovely gypsy chandelier has just arrived and its broken...so back it goes to Amazon grrrrr
just as long as you don't peg out the next time you look in a mirror...
Oh ha ha jno!!

Have just watched a tennis match and a canadian young girl won, was that the Ladies final? She held up a silver chalice not a big round silver tray, am I getting confused?
