if a video really won't post you can try turning it into a tinyurl. Every time I think I've mastered the YouTube posting thingy, something goes wrong.
Oight oight all....special thoughts for Jude.
yes, I hope she's ok. Probably just resting and getting her strength back.

Or possibly out at some Alice Cooper gig somewhere, who knows?

Oight Oight from Shaneytowers too ....
I watched Mary Beard this evening Jno ...Someone who can make Roman excrement interesting is briilliant in my book and the necklace they found with one of the skeletons was so lovely and the little lamps they had to light their way .It must have been terrifying .Amazing place .
Yes ..hope you are alright Jude..
Sleep well folks .
Morning all...cold and very very wet here. I see you carried on with a sing song, lovely toons. I was cold and fed up and decided to go and watch tele in bed....ha! I forgot that when the weather's bad I get little or no signal on that one. This digital malarkey's stupid....when the weather's bad that's the time you're going to want to watch more.

And now my cursor's gone slow and jumpy...pah! technology!
I see the Jet Stream is still hovering above my living room. Isn't it supposed to be going north and watering the reindeer in Lapland about now?

Oh dear, Robinia, electricity getting wobbly up your way? You need modern communications

I would skype if I could have one of those, its lovely. Just sat her with a coffee thinking about getting dressed, weather quite nice.
Good morning. Was wet here earlier, (I was asleep) but it's now OK ish. Have flea bites. Both animals have now been dowsed again!! The fleas were on Meggy, but probably came from Alice who got shut out by accident all night at the beginning of the week and obviously enjoyed herself.

Now, do I spray the house before our guests arrive or just hope they haven't multiplied.

I phoned Jude and she had just come out of hospital (yesterday afternoon) She is fine and all went well. She didn't have an anaesthetic, she had a sort of epidural into her neck which totally made her arm go dead, but they kept her in a bit longer because there was some swelling. She is not in plaster. She hopes to be popping in here asap and sends you all her love and thanks for your support. A friend is coming to look after her for the weekend.

Wedding tomorrow!!
Lol lottie, let us spray!
Washing second lot of 3 piece covers here and pottering dogs pottering, have done waitrose order ready for sisters arrival, all very nice.
Ps I thought glad to hear about Jude then didn't post it, must have thought you were all telepathic.
It's so cold and dank, I've given up and run the heating through...I'll probably need the fan on next week.
I seem to have sorted the mouse problem just by shutting everything down and restarting. I wish I could do that with myself, I feel all out of kilter today.

Love the Skype, compared to my house it looks very futuristic. :o)
When we were first married we had our electricity on a meter. I was reading some letters earlier I'd sent to my mum which she'd kept and I mentioned we'd got £3.60 back when they emptied the meter...haha. Nowadays I don't think you can run your electric mangle for 10 mins for that much.

I'm pleased to hear Jude's doing well. My neighbour had a few ops on her hands and never had a general anaesthetic.
Good morning Biddyfriends everywhere. To bring you up to date Lottie has said it all Im happy to say. Saves me some one finger typing time. thanks Lottie. hope the wedding goes well. i'm home now a bet swollen but no plaster just a small support which has been off already and the dresing changed. still have to hold my arm up to my left shoulder but not in sling.
i'm trying to keep up with your posts and i'm going to play all the music links later on this evening while the footie is on the tv. with the sound down. not the music - only the footie :)

Thanks again for your messages and posts. Laters 'gaters
APPARENTLY
the op was done withwhat is called a 'block'
oh, Charles I was on the block too, don't think he got off as lightly as you, Jude. Glad to hear all is well. I didn't realise you could have operations without anaesthetic, I'm not sure I like the idea.
Hi Jude, glad you're ok...don't go punching the air when the footie's on! :)

Hello all
Nice to see you Jude .I expect you are pleased to be home .Take it easy and I hope it all soon heals up nicely for you .No waving rattles about at the footie for you for a while :))
I'm not a happy bunny .I went up to put all my freshly ironed bed linen away which is kept in a cupboard above the wardrobe .These cupboards are fitted into each side of the chimney breast .We must have a loose tile ...everything in there was sopping wet .The sodding rain must have come through ..All the sheets ,pillowcases etc .
Boy am I piddled off ....all has to be washed again .The air was blue !
Oh dear Shaney, you don't have much luck with your roof do you. I would be really uptight too.

I have logged in to say oight, oight. Going out shortly and don't expect to be back on here until after the weekend.

It's not raining and I have got some washing dry!!!!

Enjoy the wedding Shaney - I intend to enjoy tomorrow evening............. I shall show junior LL up!!!!
oh hell shaney, I've got a linen cupboard in the same place, I'm going to check it in a minute. I'm swearing like a trooper because it's peeing down and they said it would be dry.

Have a lovely day Lottie, hope it all goes well...and the sun is supposed to shine.
Many congrats to all!

It's a lovely day here ..I'm sorry you have the rain Robinia
Have a lovely day Lofty .Congrats to your son and his lady .
I'm only going to the church service not the reception .
My brother won't drive all the way back from Norwich late at night which is understandable ...although I wouldn't have minded a knees up but me knees won't stand it anyway :)
Plus he gets grumpy with loud music and too much conversation because of his deafness .
Yes ..I am very piddled off ....this house has not been a lucky house for us ..we've had more leaks than Wiki :)
where did my earlier post go?...tut

All dry here (on the inside).
Hope it's a lovely day for you too shaney...congratulations to them both. Don't think there've been many sunny Saturday weddings here, I can hear the local church bells ringing.
hi again. sorry about your leak Shaney I wouldn't know where to start getting that sorted out. hope it's soon sorted for you.

I have just had a relaxing half hour listening to all the music links on a previous page. great it was and what good songs. thanks for them. i love Carly and believe it or not i can see the sun shining a bit here i think its deciding whether to set now behind the houses opposite. so i'm feeling a lot more relaxed.

Anyway. i'm off now to sort somestuff out. i feel a bit more like moving around as i've had a friend and her husband here this afto for a cuppa and a chat. so i'll see yer later 'gaters.
