I've jsut spent ages in a hot smelly humid horrid kitchen making s/s chicken with all the noodles and veg and egg fried rice, I was dripping wet when I served it, and it top it all off it didn't taste that good, obviously I had forgotten some spice or something, but hey ho it's too hot to worry, we ate it anyway!

Just had a swim and am watching "swing shift" on dvd, and there was a lovely song by either carly simon or carol king, "someone waits for you" has made me very teary!!!

Oh pals, I love all those songs, but that Carly one has me literally sobbing, no idea why, just so tender, what a sopping thing I am at times. Yes Carly, Carol and James Taylor were all the rage when I moved over here, such memories.

....might have been.....actually it was half a glass of leftover champagne...not enough to make me squiffy, the vid wont post. then I tried pasting it and putting asterisks in to stop it making a link but it just made the link anyway so I gave up. had a good day here, except my printer has died so i have been shopping on Amazon for a new one, happily it takes the same cartridges as my old one as I have a stash.
