Oh hot bovril, yum. I have just a glass of cold gazpacho with buttered fingers of toast with cheese on. Mr N is home watching the golf so I am laying on the bed with the fan going 10 to the dozen, so hot and sticky. Have done ironing in hija's air conned bedroom, no other way to cope with it! Too hot even to cross patio 3 meters to get to the pool!

jno. Mr LL was collecting bucket fulls of slugs from around our house yesterday. When asked what he was going to do with them he said he was drowning them. I daren't ask where!!!

The sun has just shown itself. The washing is being put out for about the fifth time today. If it were me it would have been put in the tumble drier, but if he likes doing it, well...................................

I'm getting fed up with in and out with washing .I put some out yesterday and bloomin' left it there !
I'd bung it all in the drier but then I get the leccy bill waved under my nose :)

I'm so depressed I've been cleaning...tried to convince myself it was occupational therapy. :)

The sun lasted about 10 minutes Shaney!! It is dull, grey and chilly again, but the washing remains out. The reason Mr LL keeps bringing it in and out is that he too disapproves of the tumble drier wasting electricity. So if he want's it outside, he can put in outside. He now appears to be cutting down tree branches out there. I wish I had 10% of his energy.

SIL is now not coming until tomorrow night late!!! I really wanted an early night tomorrow in view of Saturday's weddings. Damn!! I shall go to bed and Mr LL can sit and wait for her.

I was cleaning the upstairs bathroom in readyness for SIL. I can now leave it until tomorrow, but perhaps I better go and finish what I started. The bath was very dusty with a few six legged things in it!! (we don't use the bath).
