In the street scene at the start of Corrie tonight was it just me or did anyone else notice that Gail was bobbing up & down as though she'd lost the heel from one of her shoes? or maybe she was walking with one foot in the gutter like you did when you were little? It just looked so funny to me.
And why does Deirdre always stride out around their tiny house with her arms swinging as though she's on a brisk 5 mile hike?

Do tell me this August and I haven't been asleep and woken up in November .I've heard of March winds but this is riduculous..Any minute now my garden brolly thing is going to take off for the outer Hebrides closely followed by a wheelie bin and my washing by the look of it .
I am seriously thinking of moving to Woolacombe ..they seem to have a better class of weather there:))

so true, shaney, I've been kept awake three nights in a row by howling winds - and in 20something years here I've never heard them howl before. It must be something to do with the angle it's coming in at, but boy is it noisy. I'm starting to think of going house-sitting in Ibiza for a while, somewhere with a nice hoover that isn't attached to a dwarf. Anybody know of one?

Thank you everyone for your Birthday Wishes ,another year older but I don't know about the wiser bit !
I had a cr@ppy 2 weeks from the beginning of August ,touch of flu ,cough ,runny nose ,the lot which turned to an infection on my chest.Just wanted to curl up and die !
Then our youngest daughter was almost wiped off the road on her way home from work by a 4WD ,she ended up in hospital but is now home with a fractured sternum and massive bruising .Off work for a least 2 mnths .
Then eldest son told us he has been diagnosed with Macular Dege neration in one of his eyes .I won't tell you the rest but I've had better times .
At least we have now had a bit of rain but not enough to break the drought but every bit helps. Sorry to be so miserable ,hope to feel better next time .Look after yourselves and love to all .
