Trying to recall a television series from my childhood. This would have been in the late sixties or early seventies. Can't say if it was American or British and the only clue I've got for you is that every episode started with the hero listenig to his new assignment on a cassette tape which always ended with the words "this tape will self-destruct within thirty seconds" - something along those lines. Driving me crazy!
TIA (back tonight to say thanks to anyone who's been able to put me out of my misery, as it were:)

Afternoon all, here I is, I'm sorry I can't read all your posts in detail today it makes my eyes water, I'm doing this on notepad in big type...
Phoned the surgery first thing...nurse said to go to casualty (eye dept)... On arrival a grumpy nurse said my doctor or optician should have made me an appt. Anyway they said they'd squeeze me in & the rest of the team were really lovely. I had symptoms of retina damage & I did right to have it checked...lots of drops & tedious examination by 2 docs, but it was ok. Doc said it was the vitreous inside my eye that had moved forward & pulled the retina which causes sight disturbance, lights etc. She could see all the floaters in my right eye! weird intit? Just got to be careful for a couple of weeks, no bending, lifting, sport(haha!), so my workshop with the cirque du soleil's off then, tut. Came home with fabby sexy dilated pupils!
Will catch up when I can focus better.
Love to all specially the poorly ones & Lottie's new doggie (I can see pics, she's lovely!) x
Please move anywhere you fancy...just not anywhere medical. haha

Robbie, I had the same thing a couple of years ago. Caused Lots of lights and weird eye problems and headaches and it really frightened me. I put off going to the doctors as I was sure they were going to tell me something dreadful!!
They told me it's quite common in the elderly >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Take care.
Neti. Yes the first picture is Molly. But Meggie is still my baby. She's actually more of a character and I love her to bits. Molly, I would agree, is absolutely beautiful though. Just wish if she is going to take the clothes out of the washing machine she would also hang them on the washing line, bring them in and iron them them. She only a few minutes ago presented me with the TV remote!! I'm not sure whether it's a hint that there's a programme she wants to watch.

Hiya Robi Good to see you back been thinking about you. I know you have a family etc but if I can do anything locally for you please email me.
Your little dogs sound lots of fun Lottie.
Well everybody, I'm actually going out tonight to see someone called Scott Anson. I've seen him before and really liked him then. Only the 3rd time this year I have been to my usual haunt on a Friday night. Don't expect I'll do much dancing, too warm tonight.
Hope you all have a good night, that includes poorly husbands et al.
See yer later 'gater(s)

Sorry Vin Wasn't ignoring you. To be honest sometimes I can't understand what you're on about. I don't think anybody knows where we're going yet. Kit says she will be back tonight so maybe then we will know cos I think Robi is having difficulty seeing at the mo.
Have a good trip on Sunday. Bye for now x

♫♪ I kissed a girl and I liked it, I liked it ♪♫ ...or rather some Russian woman kissed me and I didn't much like it all but what the heck. I was going back home on the subway and this woman with an accent and two suitcases showed me a note with an address and looked like a question mark so I pointed her to the right subway train that was just rolling in. She bent to pick her bags up and sort of covered me in mwah-mwah-mwah-kisses on her way up again!! Shoulder to be exact, but I could see she was heading for my cheeks or forehead or something so I backed away before she got there ha ha ha! You don't just kiss a Swede!
Ha ha Jude don't you have a Devonator among your translators? I actually got everything in *that* post, I've seen worse:) Lol at the hares Vinny. Here's an idea for when you go bald if you haven't already >>>> http://i27.tinypic.com/2zrow9e.jpg
Molly and Meggie are just lovely Lottie. How muscular Molly is!
Good thing you went, Robi. I have posterior vitreous detachment too, think it must have been seven or eight years ago now and nothing bad has happened since, not even when I fell on the back of my skull (I went for a check-up to make sure). The floaters never go away but I remember they used to bother me quite a lot in the beginning and they don't bother me anymore - just when I'm very very tired and should be sleeping anyway. If you continue to have new symptoms, now or in the future, you must contact them again - and that's important, you hear - but most likely you won't. Last time I went the effect of the eyedrops lingered for three whole days so if you've got any flirting to do, do it now;-)

Really sorry to hear(or should it be read ) about all the poorly people on here .I'm glad you got your eye problem sorted out Robi ,we were all really worried about you ,I don't come on here too often but I try to keep up ,difficult at my advanced age - now husbands with kidney problems should drink at least 2 litres or 8 glasses of water a day to keep hydrated and flush all the toxins away.I have to make sure Mr.D.does this as he's not very fond of water.Anyway I do hope all poorly husbands get better soon and I'm thinking of you all and saying a prayer for all sick people .Enjoy your weekend away Vinnie .
Lovely dogs Lofty ,we've acquired a lovely little miniature poodle from the RSPCA called Pearl and she's gorgeous and house-trained ! Mr.D looking much better since we got her . Belated Birthday wishes for Tarquin ,Robi ,I don't know how he can be as old as that when you are so young ! Is Tarquin the son now residing in West Australian ?
It must be jolly hot over there to be going to bed in the nuddy with packets of frozen peas and ice blocks etc. We just open the windows and turn on the fans when it's that hot at night ,anyway I just hope all your worries and ill-health all soon disappear and everyone is up and raring to go . Thinking of you
Love Dolly xxxx

Is it just me, or is the dramatic life story of mr-rubix reminding me of someone elser?
