its deff NOT on the back of my new pink card, it was in 1963 sometime .the insurance needs to know, and being insurance i need to get everything spot on.

back in the 70s, I think, TTT. My licence actually says 1991 but it was way before that (I think 1991 may have been when I got my first plastic licence?)

I was asked the same question recently. I still have my original red covered driving licence but that only shows the date I swapped my provisional licence plus pass cert for a full licence. Not the date I actually passed the test - which would have been sometime in 1965. I e-mailed the insurance company and they phoned back to say they noted it as over 9 years and everything is ok. The lady who phoned me seemed bemused the question is asked on line.
