I want a new (not refurb) fitted to my 20y old xtype. What are my chances or will I be tucked up?

i cant bear to scrap this car as its sentimental.

The xtype was manufactured from 2001 until 2009, according to Wiki. Which one?

2001. Ive had it brand new and am loathed to part with it....as threatened by my kids :(

Seems to be plenty available Tambo.

Refurbished would be ok in my eyes as the contacts and the spring are the only wearing parts and they would be replaced.

A quick google with Jag xtype, year and engine type will bring you many results for new and refurbished.
