2015 Vauxhall Viva

I’ve just bought a ‘15 reg Vauxhall Viva. I love it. However, don’t think it has a Bluetooth radio system, meaning, I can’t seem to be able to play my own music. There is no cd slot or, as far as I can see, a USB port to connect it to my phone.

Can anybody tell what I should do, other than buying a new radio.

Is there a small jack-socket anywhere? Some cars use a double-ended jack-plug cable with one end in the headphone socket of your phone and the other end in the car jack-socket. What inputs does the menu for the car radio offer eg, FM, aux?

It has all the AM/FM radio choices but when I press the Media button it says No Device Found. There is just a hole for a jack plug which works when I plug it into my phone but that only gives me the availability to listen through headphones which I don’t want.

My granddaughters like listening to my/their music.

Have you tried a Bluetooth search from your device and from the car?

Amazon has lots of gadgets that do what you want....search "bluetooth car transmitter".....

There is only a USB connection on the SL model not the SE according to this site.

Yes, I see that ubasses. It’s a lovely little car but basic, hence the affordable price.

That’s what I thought, grumpy!! I was remembering the little square boxes that were popular in the 70’s. It’s a super little car with plenty of uumph.

Sorry,thought it was a mistake.Certainly didn't realise that the Viva was still available albeit in a much changed design.
