no indicators

hello my indicators have suddenly stopped working and also the hazard light s any idea what could be wrong
it is not the fuses ,and i have done nothing to the car
the car is a 1990 import MR2

It is likely to be the indicator relay. You need to find out where it is and check it out.

milage 86.000 when i set the alarm the indicators still flash could the alarm be the issue?
Very much doubt it.

Basically thre relay or flasher unit as it sometimes called is the part that fails. The indicators still flash when you activate or disactivate the alarn, as they are on a different circuit.

Shouldn't be too difficult to change (see Haynes manual) nor expensive (certainly no more than �15)

Should take 10 to 15 minutes, depending where it is located.
on alot of cars a faulty hazard switch can also stop the indicators working.. not sure about MR2 tho
